Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lisa Bartley. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Lisa, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

After going to college, graduating, and realizing I needed something else.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

I originally started in the business doing hair for cut and color clients in AZ. I was always so inspired by creative looks and hair design that is sparked my interest in being part of wedding hair and makeup. I worked in a very busy high end salon when I was living in AZ and only had little time for creative hair outside the salon. After moving to CO, I jumped in head first and began doing weddings. I love being a part of designing and inspiring looks for brides. It brings me such joy to have influence on brides while allowing me to make them feel their best.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect of being an artist or creative is that with my passion I can make someone else feel their best. on a very important day of their lives. It allows me to design, create, and always challenge myself for the better.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

The goal driving my creative journey is always striving to learn, dive deeper, and be able to inspire and please the client. I love working and learning about people. Hearing their story, understanding who they are gives me inspiration to create their look.
