Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Linsay Alcindor. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Linsay, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
One of the biggest risks I’ve taken was starting my entrepreneurial journey while healing from depression and anxiety. It has been an extremely challenging path, but I am glad I went through these trials and tribulations. This journey has taught me confidence, consistency, and the value of hard work. It required showing up for myself and my business every day, even when I didn’t feel like it. It has also taught me that resting is okay too.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
For folks who may not have read about me before, I’d like to introduce myself and share my journey. My name is Linsay Alcindor, and I am the founder of Digital Bizz Management and a fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). My path into this industry was shaped by a combination of personal challenges and professional aspirations. Battling depression and anxiety, I found that diving into entrepreneurship gave me a renewed sense of purpose and direction.
As a fractional CMO, I offer high-level marketing expertise to businesses that may not have the resources or need for a full-time CMO. This role allows me to work with multiple clients, providing strategic marketing leadership and execution on a flexible, part-time basis. It’s an ideal solution for businesses looking to scale their marketing efforts without the long-term commitment and cost of a full-time executive.
Digital Bizz Management specializes in providing comprehensive digital marketing services tailored to the unique needs of our clients. Our offerings include website development, social media management, SEO optimization, and customized marketing strategies designed to enhance online presence and drive business growth. My role as a fractional CMO involves crafting these strategies, overseeing their implementation, and ensuring that all marketing activities align with the overall business goals.

We believe in creating personalized strategies that align with the specific goals and challenges of each client. This commitment to excellence has not only helped our clients succeed but has also fostered a strong sense of trust and loyalty.
For potential clients, followers, and fans, the main thing I want you to know about Digital Bizz Management and my role as a fractional CMO is our unwavering dedication to your success. How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
A time I’ve had to pivot my business was 1-2 years into it. My business vision goal was to become a Management firm for Solopreneurs and Small business Owners, providing Digital Marketing Management, Remote Team Management, Project Management, and system and operation management. Me discussing my early vision https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=paeo4XQ-SEs. I had to pivot into a marketing firm instead because I was trying to grow too fast, plus I already had the Marketing experience and skill set. This was the smartest move for me to make. It was indeed a difficult one to make. As a business owner when we have a business idea it becomes our baby and we don’t want to make any changes to it. But it is crucial in this stage not to get used to one idea and become adaptable. Hopefully, as I finish receiving my MBA, I will add to my skillsets and pivot back to my original business idea.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
I have done alot of reading within my entrepreneurial journey that helped me gain confidence, become a better leader and fix my mindset.

48 laws of power by Robert Green. This book changed my mindset for the better.
The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale (Mindset)

You are a Baddass + Badass Habits by Jen Sincero (Mindset)
Bonus: The Introvert’s Guide to Becoming a Master Networker by Jevonya Jenkins Allen (this book helped me master my confidence to network a previous coach I wrote the book) + The Bible
I am constantly improving myself, and my education every day to become my higher self and a great leader.
