Linnette , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
My first job as a Music & Media producer was back in 2012. I was hired to produce a Japanese TV Commercial for the KIRIN BRAND.
I had advertising contacts in Japan at the time, who wanted an American theme for their coffee commercial, which was titled KIRIN FIRE NEO – “NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS.” It was one of the most meaningful projects I’ve ever worked on and I’ll never forget it!
The Japanese team of advertising execs flew in to collaborate with me at a studio, which I booked in Manhattan New York City.
I was hired to bring all musical elements, artists and business together for the commercial in order to bring it life!
The commercial was recorded and the rest is history!
The commercial later aired in all major cities of Japan! It was a big job but I had so much fun and learned so much in that time!
This opportunity inspired many more great experiences in years following. I’m still so proud to this day about this, my first job as producer for an awesome international project!!!
Linnette , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I was born and raised in New York City. I come from a musical family – always had music around me!
I spent many of my early years as a singer, musician and performing artist. I also studied a number of courses in business and graduated college with a degree in Media Production.
I later started my own firm. I’ve been now working as a Music & Media Content Producer for the past 11 years. I’m also an emerging filmmaker.
I produce music content, music themed films and documentaries (short form) which have been seen/ heard on TV in films and internet. My clients include independent producers, filmmakers, networks and more.
In addition I am creator of “Elevate Your Music,” a website and community which offers mentorship, networking and business opportunities especially for indie recording artists, musicians, producers, record labels, publishers and other music creators from around the globe.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect for me when it comes to being a creative and an artist is just simply “BEING FREE.”
I love using my imagination, coming up with new ideas and seeing them come to life!
Also love collaborating with other creatives which inspires me even more in work and in life!
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My mission is all about elevating the world and the planet with my music and media. Producing content that touches the heart and soul is my highest goal.
