Lindsey, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?

Lindsey Tieman Photography, LLC is the heart of my passion for storytelling and capturing life’s most meaningful moments. My business is uniquely divided into two specialties: maternity, birth, and newborn photography, and then boudoir photography. While they may seem like different worlds, both are rooted in a deep desire to empower people, celebrate their journeys, and preserve fleeting moments they will treasure forever.

At Boudoir by Lindsey Tieman, my mission is to create images that allow my clients to see themselves in a way that sparks emotion – whether that’s pride, confidence, joy, or even a sense of rediscovery. I believe these moments are more than just photos; they’re a tangible reminder of strength and beauty, something you can hold onto in the ups and downs of life.

For me, this work is deeply personal. I’ve seen how easy it is for people, especially woman, to lose sight of their worth amidst the demands of life. I have experienced it myself. I am extremely passionate about helping people reclaim that sense of self. It’s incredibly meaningful to know that years from now, someone might just look at these images and not just see a photo, but feel empowered by the person they see staring back at them.

At Lindsey Tieman Photography, my mission is to celebrate the beauty and rawness of motherhood through every stage—maternity, birth, and newborn. My own pregnancy was one of the most incredible experiences of my life; I’ve never felt more radiant or connected to myself. But my birth experience was the opposite—a whirlwind of chaos and trauma that left me without clear memories of those precious first moments. That’s why I’m so passionate about what I do.

I want to be there for mothers, capturing every detail—whether their birth is a peaceful celebration or a challenging journey. These moments deserve to be cherished and remembered, no matter how they unfold. And when it comes to newborns, those fleeting days are truly magical. In just a matter of weeks, they transform, losing the tiny features that remind us of their first days in this world. My goal is to preserve those memories so parents can look back on them with joy and gratitude for years to come.

Hi there, I’m Lindsey Tieman – a wife, mom, daughter, and friend with a passion for capturing life’s most precious moments. I specialize in maternity, birth, newborn, and boudoir photography under two brands: Lindsey Tieman Photography and Boudoir by Lindsey Tieman. Each brand allows me to tell your unique story in a way that celebrates life, love, and confidence. I have separated my brands because well, you can’t put babies next to butt cheeks online!

Photography has been a lifelong love for me, rooted in my desire to make people feel seen, empowered, and celebrated. As a mother, I understand the beauty and fleeting nature of every stage of life, from pregnancy to the newborn cuddles that come and go too quickly. That’s why I focus on maternity, birth, and newborn photography—to help you preserve these irreplaceable moments forever.

I also believe in the transformative power of confidence and self-love, which is what drew me to boudoir photography. Through Boudoir by Lindsey Tieman, I help women unveil their confidence in a safe, empowering space. Whether it’s your first boudoir session or a way to reclaim your self-love journey, my goal is to create images that are raw, authentic, and truly you. My tagline says it all: “Unveil Your Confidence – Captured with Authenticity and Empowerment.”

When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me baking in my kitchen, going on adventures, or staying connected to nature. I have a bit of a hippie heart, and I bring that free-spirited, caring energy into my sessions. My photography is not just about images- it’s about creating a connection, a memory, and a moment of magic that you’ll treasure for years to come.

For my boudoir sessions, I collaborate with the amazing makeup artist Felicia Moscote and hairstylist Shea Templeton from my area, both of whom bring their expertise to help you look and feel your absolute best. They are part of my commitment to providing a luxury experience that celebrates you.

Starting in 2025, my photography services will focus exclusively on maternity, birth, newborn, and boudoir photography. While I may occasionally take family sessions through select packages or pop-up events, my heart and my lens are dedicated to these core areas.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

I believe my reputation within the market has been built on two key elements: word of mouth and the genuine connections I create with my clients. Even as someone new to the industry, I’ve focused on providing a personalized and empowering experience for every client, which has led to glowing recommendations. My dedication to making people feel their best and creating a safe, welcoming environment has resonated with my clients, and they have been incredibly supportive in spreading the word about my work. Quality over quantity has been my approach- focusing on meaningful relationships rather than follower counts, and it’s paying off.

Have you ever had to pivot?

I am currently in the midst of a major pivot in my life, transitioning from a 10-year career as a 911 dispatcher to pursuing photography full-time. It’s a huge leap- leaving a stable, fulfilling job that I’ve excelled at for a decade to chase a passion that is full of unknowns. While I’ve loved the sense of purpose and service that came with being a dispatcher, I’ve felt a growing pull to channel my creativity and focus on helping others in a different way through photography. It has been incredibly challenging to step away from the comfort of stability, but it is also exciting to build something of my own, from the ground up. This pivot is teaching me resilience, courage, and the importance of betting on myself.
