Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lindsey Moccio. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Lindsey thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?
A year ago I had a regular 9-to-5 job that I was happy with. However, I felt something was missing. After the pandemic, the medical field getting more demanding and not having a full team of medical professionals made it hard to help people the way they truly deserve. Doctors, nurses, and medical assistances were stretched very thin everywhere. Patient interaction declined. Going to work everyday was no longer joyful. I wanted that positive interaction with people and help make them feel good in now a totally different way. Creating this business helped build confidence to my clients of all ages ranging from 7 to 70+.
Lindsey, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
I started my business on my own funds and a lot of support from my community. Wilmington it full of local artists who are trying to create their own business platform. Through social media and word of mouth my business has reached a place in less than a year and I never dreamed of.
How did you build your audience on social media?
Before my business I didn’t have social media.. so when I created social accounts I was totally out of the loop. I went out to locals introduced myself because I feel true connections beyond a computer screen is super important. It’s not common anymore and because of this it makes me stand out from others. Having a lot of experience in customer service. I really enjoy going out and making connections with people in my community
