Lindsey, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Let’s talk about innovation. What’s the most innovative thing you’ve done in your career?
Sure… at one point in my career I was ashamed of my shape and my confidence was low. Being able to win New Model of the Year for Fayettiville,NC Been Banned Magazine Award a well know urban model magazine here in North Carolina was an an amazing thing for me it really taught me you never know who supporting you from afar. Always be confident in what you do and your are don’t let no one put you in a box. Always step outside and make the world your runway!!!
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m your small town Lumbee Native American country girl from North Carolina. I started out in fashion shows and background film work! Being able to be on set with actors from Tyler Perry movies like Euclid Grey Palmer Floyd to two movies on Tubi now Crossover and Best Buds! I always stayed consistent in what I love doing and stay true to who I am! People loved having me on there runway and then I was asked to be apart of something that because so viral called Buns and Basketball lingerie basketball team. So my career has had many highlights to rapper Lil Boosie music videos working with his engineers and videographers was a game changer as well! So, yes Is stay humble and busy but, if it wasn’t for God I wouldn’t be where I am today. Between my native culture my family and my friends that s has been my biggest motivation just giving back and giving to my community. Yes, I have some lows and some highs but, my motivation remains I tell anyone don’t lose your passion don’t let anyone stop you keep goin keep moving someone will notice your next best thing maybe just yet to come.
Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Being able to set a set design for my 4th great grandfather Henry Berry Lowry and a awesome cast I put together we put on a scene out of legacy stageplays that is was in honor for helping with our culture! I put on this portion of the play to in front of 500 people his name for the Henry Berry Lowry reunion! This will forever be with me and my heart to represent something so prestige like this for our culure
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
I started my audience on my social media just by being myself and displaying content in fashion beauty and comedy what people love to see! Once I joined the buns and basketball team my following went crazy so it’s about working and pushing content people want to see something that different team work make the dreamwork. Tag all you can be consistent and make it unique where it grabs people on
