We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Lindsey Heggans a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Lindsey, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
I think the most meaningful project I’ve ever gotten to work on as a project. I’m working on now called VOW it is about family and these two sisters finding each other and the super lost world and I feel like in this dystopian world the story is about love and family and finding each other. I never grew up with a younger sister, but I have an older brother who I care about so much! The cast is amazing I have the privilege to work with Connor Mc Cloud, Leon Walker, Josh Deener, Maisie Maddux and so many amazing people! Going to set doesn’t even feel like work. It feels like I’m spending time with my family. I can’t wait for everyone people to see it soon.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hi, my name is Lindsey Heggans and I am an actor model and influencer I started acting when I was really little along with dance team. I’ve grown up doing it my whole entire life, and it started with Theater which made me fall in love with the film world after getting the chance to work with MTI. I really felt like Film is where I belong and decided to go into it if it wasn’t for the theater today be strong and confident in myself and I have privilege to teach other young actors how to feel the same way when I act modeling production company along with teaching children, theater and film production on top of that, I’m also a competitive dance coach I love staying busy and getting to work with kids and adults to help them reach their goals and dreams. When I’m not in the film world I love spending my time outdoors from horse back riding hiking and so much more I also share that love on my social media @Lindsey.Heggans

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
I think one of the most rewarding things about being a creative is helping a vision come to life. There’s nothing like seeing the building blocks being made and having things be put together something that you thought that was just gonna be idea and now it becomes a whole story. Even if I’m not acting in that project, seeing someone smile and just be so happy to see their story come to life just makes my day and that’s what I wanna do for the rest of my life. It’s just make people smile.

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?
One thing that a lot of people don’t know about me is that I’m a Equestrian. It is something that I absolutely love to do and I originally had my social media just based on being an equestrian, however as I did more acting things and people seemed to be more interested on how I balance my outdoor life from the horseback riding hiking and acting life from modeling, social media work I had to change how I run my social media, which is for the better and I have a nice mix of people who have love in both things and I feel like I can fully be authentically myself
