We recently connected with Lindsey Escaja and have shared our conversation below.
Hi LINDSEY, thanks for joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
I have two businesses; French 75 and 614FitClub.
French 75
Writing for me is like crafting a French 75 cocktail—timeless, balanced, and polished. Every word is chosen with intention, every sentence designed to leave a lasting impression. Whether it’s punchy, persuasive, or poetic, I write for the client and their unique vision, but always with a touch of refinement that makes it unforgettable. Just like the cocktail, my writing isn’t about doing what’s trendy—it’s about creating something classic and impactful. It’s meaningful to me because writing is my craft, and I believe every story, big or small, deserves to shine.
614FitClub
614FitClub was built because I never wanted anyone to feel the way I once did—unseen, unwelcome, or like they didn’t belong. For years, I went to fitness events (and even hosted some) for companies whose missions looked great on paper but didn’t feel great in real life. Owners who preached empowerment but didn’t practice it. Events that were all about the bottom line, not the people who showed up. I stayed for too long because they were successful, and I couldn’t figure out why. But then I realized—if I felt this way, others probably did too.
So, I created 614FitClub with one goal: to build a space where everyone feels like they belong. A place where you can show up as you are, be part of something uplifting, and leave feeling better than when you arrived. This mission is deeply personal to me because I know what it’s like to feel like an outsider. I don’t ever want anyone to feel that at my events. Fitness should empower, not intimidate. And at 614FitClub, that’s exactly what we do.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hi, I’m Lindsey Veronica—a storyteller at heart with a knack for turning ideas into narratives that connect and inspire. Whether I’m writing editorial pieces for publications like 614Magazine, collaborating with local brands, or building creative campaigns, my work is all about authenticity, creativity, and a dash of boldness.
How did I get here? Well, I’ve always been drawn to stories. From crafting essays in school to building my portfolio as a writer and marketer, it’s been a natural evolution. Over time, I realized my passion wasn’t just about writing—it was about helping brands and people find their voice and share it in a way that sticks. I’ve worked with a variety of businesses, from lifestyle brands to nonprofit organizations, creating everything from polished editorials to engaging social media content.
What sets me apart? It’s my attention to detail and drive to go beyond the surface. Whether it’s an article, a campaign, or a social event I’m hosting, I’m committed to creating something meaningful—something that resonates. I don’t do cookie-cutter; I aim for custom-crafted, because every story deserves its own shine.
I’m most proud of the connections I’ve built along the way. It’s not just about what I create—it’s about the people behind it. A big part of my journey has been turning challenges into opportunities, and nowhere is that more evident than with 614FitClub. After going through cancer treatment, I realized how much movement mattered—not just for the body, but for the soul. At the time, I was teaching at a studio that told me my teaching spots would be waiting for me once I was done with treatment. But when that time came, they didn’t follow through. It was a crushing moment, but instead of dwelling on the negative, I decided to create something positive. That’s how 614FitClub was born: a space where everyone belongs, no matter where they are in their journey, and no one is made to feel less-than.
If there’s one thing I’d want you to know, it’s that I’m here to champion great ideas, amplify voices that matter, and make the world feel a little more inclusive and connected. Whether I’m sharing your story, hosting an event, or helping build your brand, I’m all in.
Whether it’s a story interview, a fitness class, or an event I’m hosting, my goal is simple: to make you feel like you just had an outing with your best friend. Comfortable, seen, and inspired—that’s how I want you to leave a meeting with me, every single time.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Honestly, I think the key to building my reputation has been how I make people feel. Whether I’m teaching a fitness class, writing a story, or hosting an event, my priority has always been to create spaces where people feel seen, valued, and like they truly belong.
I’ve never been afraid to show up as my whole self—vulnerable, real, and sometimes a little messy—because I think that’s what connects us as humans. I share my wins, but I also share the struggles: the moments of self-doubt, the setbacks, and the lessons learned along the way. It’s in those raw moments that people see they’re not alone, and I think that’s what resonates the most.
Whether it’s through my writing or at a 614FitClub event, I want people to walk away feeling empowered, inspired, and maybe even a little lighter. Vulnerability has been my secret weapon—because when you’re real with people, they’re real with you. And in a world that can feel so filtered and polished, I think that authenticity is what stands out.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One story that truly illustrates my resilience is when life threw me not one, but two gut punches at the same time. I was in the middle of cancer treatment, already navigating one of the toughest battles of my life, when my best friend and business partner pushed me out of the business I helped her expand; it was something special we shared together and is what made us like sisters.
Someone I thought would be my rock through the hardest days wasn’t there for me when I needed her most. Suddenly, I found myself facing not only the physical and emotional toll of cancer but also the heartbreak of losing a business I loved and a friendship I cherished.
It was devastating. But here’s the thing—I’ve always believed in turning negatives into positives; my motto for life. That moment of loss and heartbreak became the fuel I needed to create something entirely my own. I poured my energy into starting 614FitClub, a space built on community, empowerment, and belonging—the very things I felt I had lost. I wanted to build something where no one would ever feel how I felt: unsupported, unseen, or unworthy.
Even on the hardest days, I kept going. Some days it was for me, and some days it was for the people who needed what I was building. And now, every event, every class, and every connection feels like a victory—a reminder that I didn’t just survive, I thrived. Resilience isn’t about bouncing back; it’s about forging a new path when the old one crumbles. And that’s what I’ve done, one step, one story, and one positive turn at a time.
