We were lucky to catch up with Lindsay Price recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Lindsay thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
One of the biggest risks I’ve ever taken is simply believing in myself. It’s so easy to stay in the comfort of what you know, to remain in the box you or others—like family or society—have placed you in. But stepping out of that box, daring to believe you have something meaningful to share with the world, and continuing to show up even when progress feels slow, takes courage.
I’ll never forget the first time I guided someone on a journey—a form of guided meditation. I was terrified. I had to trust in what I was seeing, in how the journey would unfold, and in my ability to help my client navigate the depths of their own mind. It required me to believe not only in the process but also in my gifts—gifts to help others heal and, in turn, help myself heal.
That is the biggest risk I’ve ever taken: trusting in my ability to make a difference. And it’s a risk I choose to take every single day.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I am a lightworker—a guide who helps illuminate the dark corners of the soul to bring healing and clarity. My practice is rooted in contemporary Shamanism, and I am a Reiki Master, Breathwork Coach, Akashic Guide, and certified Meditation Coach. I call myself Healing Lindsay because I am always on a journey of healing myself while holding space for others to do the same.
Over the course of two years, I trained with two Shaman Masters who taught me to share the Shamanic path with others. My work primarily focuses on empowering women through 1:1 sessions, helping them integrate healing rituals and mindfulness into their daily lives. I also hold community Breathwork classes a few times a month because I believe breath is the foundation of everything—it is our connection to life, presence, and transformation.
What makes my approach unique is how I blend the spiritual and earthly realms, helping others find balance and walk in grace. We often strive for perfection, but perfection isn’t the goal. I guide others to embrace compassion for themselves, to see the beauty in who they already are, and to recognize that everything they’ve been searching for has always been within them.
What I’m most proud of is the ripple effect of healing and light. By simply living in alignment with my truth, I know I’ve already helped someone—and that is enough. When we embody our authenticity, we become mirrors, inspiring others to see their own light and live their truth.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
My healing journey began with my daughter, a beautiful soul who has taught me more about resilience than I ever thought possible. She is medically fragile and has spent over 200 days in the hospital in her nine years of life, undergoing more than eight surgeries. She lives with a rare, undiagnosed condition that affects her life in ways we still don’t fully understand. She relies on a feeding tube, oxygen, and has only one functioning lung. And yet, despite these challenges, she radiates a light and joy that are undeniable. Her body may not work the way it’s “supposed to,” but she makes it work—with courage, grace, and a spirit that inspires everyone who meets her.
At the beginning of her life, as we navigated this life-changing journey, I almost gave up. It was overwhelming—filled with fear, sadness, and uncertainty. But in the midst of it all, I found the Shamanic path, and everything began to shift. I learned to forgive life for not turning out the way I had envisioned. I came to understand that while our story wasn’t what I had expected, it was something far deeper and richer.
Through this path, I discovered the beauty in duality—light and dark, joy and sorrow, strength and vulnerability. My daughter has shown me how to embrace it all, and because of her, I’ve learned to heal, to grow, and to see life for the incredible, unpredictable journey it truly is. And within it I found resilience.
Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
One resource that has significantly shaped my management and entrepreneurial philosophy is Atomic Habits by James Clear. The book emphasizes the power of small, consistent actions and how they compound over time to create transformative change. This philosophy deeply resonates with me as I walk the Shaman lifestyle. It is all about taking small steps, making small changes to your every day life.
One key takeaway for me was the idea that “You do not rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your systems.” This shifted my focus from just setting ambitious goals to creating strong, sustainable systems that support long-term success—for myself and my clients. It reinforced the importance of building habits and processes that align with our desired outcomes, whether that’s fostering a positive outlook on life, or enhancing your daily practices.
Another concept that’s influenced my approach is the “1% Better Rule.” By encouraging myself and my clients to focus on small, incremental improvements, we’ve seen how these seemingly minor changes lead to significant progress over time. This mindset has taught me to value consistency over intensity and to celebrate the small wins that pave the way for larger achievements.
Ultimately, Atomic Habits has been a guiding framework for embracing continuous improvement, understanding human behavior, and cultivating an environment where everyone is empowered to grow and thrive.
