We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lindsay Davis. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lindsay below.
Hi Lindsay, thanks for joining us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
My parents owning a salon while I was growing up definitely drove my love and passion for the beauty industry. They always had me there and I didn’t want to be anywhere else!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a master stylist and specialize in color corrections, finish styling, precision cutting, extensions, and blonding. I have had a fiery passion for the fashion and stylist industry since I was a child. My parents owned and operated a salon in Seminole, Florida where I grew up. In my early 20s, I moved to Houston and dived deep into my career. I attended Paul Mitchell Houston, became an assistant at a salon in the city, and eventually opened my own studio there that has become the center of over 250 steady clients and friends. Having been successful in Houston, I decided I wanted more! I wanted to move back home to Florida and do the same thing there. I have a studio in Indian Rocks Beach, but I travel back to Houston every 4-6 weeks to take care of my clientele there. I have a large client following in Florida and Texas, as well as do freelance hair and makeup artistry for special events such as weddings and upscale parties all over the state of Florida.
I have over 12 years of professional experience with a record of attendance in continuing education from New York Goldwell Academy and Oribe New York. I have been personally invited to attend the Goldwell International Colorzoom Hair Show that takes place in Toronto.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
I want to continue making myself and others feel happy and confident. My mission is to maintain the best of both worlds in Houston and Tampa. I get to travel and do what I love for a living – how many people can say the same?!

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
It is amazing when a woman can walk in to see me feeling one way, and leave feeling so magnificent and confident. I love being able to build a positive rapport with new clients and create friendships along the way.
