Lily , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
The story behind my mission stems from a crucial moment in my life. When my father was battling a serious illness, he entrusted me with the responsibility of looking after our family. His words resonated with me, becoming a source of motivation and guiding me to prioritize the security and wellbeing of my family every day.
This experience shaped my personal commitment and made me realize how vital strong family foundations are to building resilient communities, and it also propelled me to extend my commitment beyond my own family. I am passionate about empowering others to establish and grow successful businesses.
A specific aspect of my mission is to make taxes the least of people’s worries. By simplifying tax processes and providing effective financial strategies, I want to alleviate one of the major stressors for entrepreneurs, allowing them to focus more on their family’s well being and the growth of their businesses.
My vision is to transform the industry, adding a deeper sense of purpose and commitment to the wellbeing of families and communities. It’s about achieving more than financial success; it’s about a holistic transformation of the industry that will equip clients with the knowledge and tools they need to thrive in entrepreneurship and give them peace of mind.

I am the owner of TaxUSign®, a virtual tax assistance firm based in Washington State. We specialize in providing tailored solutions that cater to the various challenges life throws at us. I am a licensed Enrolled Agent (EA), and I hold certifications as a Tax Coach and Tax Planner. I am also an NTPI Fellow.
At TaxUSign®, our mission is to deliver personalized services that result in substantial tax savings and promote strategic business growth while ensuring compliance for our clients across the country.
Our goal is to simplify the complexities of taxes so our clients can focus on other things that are important to them, including family.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The most effective strategy for growing our clientele at TaxUSign® has been our commitment to our mission which is assisting our clients with coaching, tax planning and preparation, and representation giving them one less thing to worry about. Our approach is holistic—we don’t just manage taxes; we set our clients up for success in all areas of their lives. This means providing them with more time to focus on what truly matters to them, wherever they are in their life journey.
We’ve found that genuinely connecting with people, understanding their unique needs, and addressing those needs effectively is crucial to fostering trust and loyalty. By simplifying the tax process and ensuring compliance, we give our clients peace of mind. This personalized approach allows us to have a positive impact on their lives, and it organically leads to growth through referrals.
How do you keep your team’s morale high?
I make sure to provide my team with personalized guidance and tailored strategies that align with their strengths and passions. This approach helps make everyone feel valued and understand the impact of their work on our clients and the larger vision of the company.
Team building is another crucial aspect of keeping morale high. Team-building activities, whether they are regular lunch outings or a visit to a panic room, are organized to strengthen bonds and connect different members of the team, no matter their role. This sense of community and mutual support is critical in maintaining high morale. I also encourage my team to give me feedback, and I ask, “What do you need? How can I support you?” Their voices and their concerns matter to me.
