Alright, Lilla thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
My mission is with my embroidery business to show the world a part of Hungary with hungarian folk designs trough clothing We have a beautiful country and popular foods but also beautiful folk designs.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Lilla I was born in Hungary, Originally im a musician professional Flautist. Music also a big Art. Who is working in the category “Art” ,those people more creative, more sensitive, Because I always liked creativity and trying out newer and newer opportunities, challenges I had in my Head this Idea since long ago how I could show a little more about Hungary and how I could make it more popular in an other Country and present our treasure like the folk motifs. So I decided to begin an embroidery business with the name ” Flower Power Design ” next to my music on the West Coast.Why this name ? I always was crazy for flowers and the hippie colors my favorite color is Orange and wanted to create such a style what has the flowers and the colors together. This Business focusing on the hungarian folk motifs the “Kalocsa” and “Matyó ” flowers with strong colors. The best way was to embroider for T Shirts, Baseball hats, Jackets, Towels, for kids and adults also what every day items also. I make also customized items for request of course.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Absolutely Social Media the first and of course being vendor on Markets. Is very important today that you are ready everyday and keep up the promotion with other businesses , like posting making videos etc. Today is very hard to keep the people around you so is with the business also. Talking with customers ,quick answers always gives you an extra
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
constantly posting on social Media of course ! but is not easy I had to learnt also that’s why I made a course and sometime teaching also Social Media Management. Is not so easy how you think. Some people thinking 100 posts a day helps and is the winner . No :) Its a real Stategy and hard and takes 2-3 Months to get to this point when you see growing your business trough Social Media, how and when is the best to post what is the best etc.
