We were lucky to catch up with Lilith Jane Luck recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Lilith Jane, thanks for joining us today. Can you tell us about an important lesson you learned while working at a prior job?
I have worked retail and customer service based jobs most of my life. No matter what is being sold, the biggest lesson I’ve learned is to listen, ask questions, consider feedback, and adapt. Every day and every situation is different. I’ve had to learn to go with the flow and read my frustration as a sign that I am out of alignment. If I am met with resistance, then it is my sign to relax and find another way.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
To put it simply, I am a creative person who likes to experience life in a more hands on way. That’s how I learn best. Kinesthetically. I experiment, go through a process and come out with my own way of understanding and perspective. As a kid, I played in nature by myself and felt deeply connect to the trees and animals around me. I collected rocks, leaves, and shells. I was always crafting, painting, singing, playing dress up, learning, etc. I am where I am now because through the last few years I’ve embraced more of who I am and have returned to what brings me joy. I started out in fashion retail, made my way through the beauty industry as a makeup artist, attempted cosmetology school, but found that something simply wasn’t clicking. I knew I enjoyed being of service, but I also knew I wanted to make a bigger impact. Through my own personal journey, I have found that I am passionate about delving deeper under the surface. Shedding light on the parts of the self that may be hindering growth and transformation. Shadow work. Self-awareness, reflection, and self-empowerment are such important tools that often get overlooked along the way. You can buy all the beautiful crystals in the world, but they won’t instantly fix your problems. You have to do the inner work. Ask yourself those difficult questions and get to the root of the issue or the obstacle that is keeping you from reaching a goal or simply experiencing the personal growth you may be seeking. That is where I can help. Through my tarot and coaching sessions, you will be empowered to create the changes you are seeking. You’ll be able to identify what changes might need to be addressed or even simply given the support and reassurance that you need on your journey. Often times I find myself simply acting as a sounding board to reflect back the inner knowledge that you already know. I am proud of my ability to listen and offer feedback and guidance. I won’t sugarcoat anything and often times the outside work on the client’s part is very practical. It really depends on their level of commitment to their self and how ready they are for change.
What sets me apart from others who are doing the same or similar things is my experiences and perspective. I embrace all aspects of myself and don’t feel the need to suppress any parts of my existence in order to fit into any one person’s ideals. I offer an impartial and fair view on most anything in life. I’m not here to tell you what you want to here. I will meet you where you are and still challenge you to aim for higher. I’m here as a channel to communicate whatever the tarot cards and Spirit have to say. As practical as my guidance may be, I’m also very much a lighthearted person (Blame it on my Leo Sun and Sagittarius Moon). I do my best to ensure that every session ends on a positive note.
Speaking of sessions, I currently offer emailed/virtual tarot reading and spiritual life coaching sessions. You can also occasionally find handmade trinkets and more information on how to book on my Instagram page @thelivewireoracle.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
So far the best source of new clients has been simply through word of mouth. I am very lucky to have people who love and support what I do. It brings me much joy. It also feels very organic that way. As much as I think I would love massive social media growth, I’m actually not too sure that’s what I need at this time. There are still other moving parts as my business flowers and adapts to myself as I grow too.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
This first year of starting my business has really tested me. There were the early weeks where it seemed that there was so much momentum, then there were the deafeningly quiet weeks. There were several moments where I questioned myself as to whether or not what I am doing is really worth my salt. I considered quitting and going back to work full time in retail again or just changing my career altogether. But it seems like every time I have gotten to that point, something in me pushes me back the other way. I am reminded of why I do what I do and am given support through the Universe in some form of sign or synchronicity. There really is no going back now.
