We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lilia A’Hearn. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lilia below.
Lilia , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. If you could go back in time do you wish you had started your business sooner or later
If I could go back in time, I would still choose to start my business at the exact moment I did. I launched my company during a season of transition—balancing motherhood, creative growth, and the spark of finally believing in my own voice as an artist. I wasn’t fully “ready” on paper, but I had the passion, the vision, and the drive to build something of my own.
Starting sooner would have meant entering this journey without the life experience, confidence, and creativity I’ve gained through the challenges and opportunities that shaped me. I needed those years of learning, trial and error, and discovering who I was as a creator to truly bring my business to life with purpose.
Starting later might have given me more stability, but I would have missed the momentum that pushed me forward. There’s something powerful about building a dream while life is happening—you learn resilience, you become resourceful, and you appreciate every milestone more deeply.
Looking back, I believe my timing was perfect. I started exactly when I was meant to, with just enough courage and just enough chaos to make it work. And that balance is what shaped my business into what it is today.

Lilia , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Lilia A’Hearn—an actress, producer, photographer, and creative entrepreneur behind Liliacreativity Photography and Productions. My journey into the creative world didn’t start traditionally; it evolved over years of exploring different parts of myself. I have a foundation in business management, which taught me structure, strategy, and how to build a brand with intention. From there, modeling opened the door to the artistic side of the industry. Being in front of the camera gave me an understanding of presence, emotion, and storytelling through imagery.
Photography became the natural extension of that. I fell in love with capturing real moments—families, creatives, brands, and stories that deserved to be remembered. Through photography, I developed my visual style, my artistic identity, and the ability to direct, create, and transform ideas into something tangible.
As my creative voice grew, I found myself drawn to film—not just acting in front of the camera, but producing behind it. That passion led to the birth of Liliacreativity Productions, where I now create films, visual projects, and stories that reflect emotion, imagination, and often the everyday beauty of real people. I’m currently working on multiple films, stepping fully into the world of acting and independent filmmaking.
What I offer:
I provide photography services, creative direction, visual branding, and film production—from developing concepts to shaping characters and narratives. Whether it’s a family session, a brand shoot, or a film project, my goal is always the same: to create authentic visuals that connect deeply.
The problems I solve:
Many clients come to me wanting to express something—an emotion, an identity, a story—but they aren’t sure how to translate it visually. My strength is taking what they feel and turning it into imagery or film that reflects who they truly are. I help people feel comfortable, confident, and seen.
What sets me apart:
I bring a rare blend of business strategy, artistic sensitivity, and on-camera experience. Because I’ve been both the subject and the creator, I understand how to guide clients from both perspectives. I don’t just take photos or produce films—I create experiences. I prioritize connection, comfort, and storytelling in everything I make. My work is emotional, cinematic, and rooted in imagination.
What I’m most proud of:
I’m proud that I built my career from the ground up, moving through different creative paths that now merge perfectly. I’m proud of the films I’m producing, the clients I’ve helped feel confident, and the imagery that has preserved important moments for families, brands, and artists.
What I want people to know about me and my brand:
Liliacreativity Productions is fueled by heart, vision, and unstoppable imagination. Whether I’m behind the camera, in front of it, or producing a film, my mission is to create art that feels alive. I want potential clients and followers to know that when they work with me, they’re not just booking a service—they’re collaborating with someone who truly cares about their story, their vision, and what they want to express.
My brand is about creativity with purpose, storytelling with emotion, and building a space where dreams can turn into something real on screen or in photos.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?
My journey into the creative world started long before I ever imagined running a business. Modeling was my first doorway into the industry. Being in front of the camera taught me how powerful visuals can be—how a single image can capture confidence, emotion, or a whole story. That experience sparked something in me. I realized I didn’t just want to be the subject; I wanted to create.
That curiosity led me into photography. I started practicing, learning, building my eye, and slowly clients began trusting me to capture their families, brands, and personal moments. Photography became my creative home—where I felt the most alive and the most myself.
But then life threw me a challenge. I lost everything online—my Facebook, my social media presence, my pages, my work, my connections. Years of content, clients, and growth were wiped out. It felt like I had to start completely over. At first, it was devastating. I questioned whether I should keep going or move in a different direction.
Instead of giving up, I rebuilt. Brick by brick. Post by post. Image by image. And that reset turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to me. It forced me to rediscover my identity as an artist, to be more intentional, and to build a brand that was stronger, clearer, and more aligned with who I truly was.
Starting over didn’t weaken me—it made me bold.
From that second beginning, Liliacreativity Productions was born. I wasn’t just returning as a photographer; I was evolving. My creativity expanded into acting and eventually into producing my own films. What started as simple photoshoots has now grown into full storytelling—cinematic projects, characters, scripts, and visions brought to life on screen.
Today, I’m not only a photographer, but an actress and film producer building a body of work that reflects imagination, emotion, and resilience. My brand is living proof that starting over doesn’t mean going backwards. Sometimes it’s the moment you rise into who you were meant to become.
I came back stronger, more focused, and more passionate—ready to create not just images, but entire worlds.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One of the clearest moments that taught me what resilience really is happened the day I lost everything I had built online. Years of modeling content, photography work, client connections, messages, portfolio pieces—gone overnight when my Facebook and social platforms were suddenly wiped out. It felt like the ground opened beneath me. My entire business had lived online, and in an instant, it looked like I was starting from zero again.
For a few days, I didn’t know what to do. I cried, I questioned myself, and I honestly wondered if the universe was telling me to quit. It felt unfair—like years of dedication had just been erased. But resilience doesn’t show up when things are easy. It shows up when your choices are to stay down or get up and transform.
So I chose to rebuild.
I remember sitting with my camera in my hands and thinking, If I have this, I can start again. And that was the turning point. Instead of trying to recreate the past, I focused on building something new, something more aligned with who I was becoming. I posted my work again. I reached out to clients again. I showed up, even if only a handful of people were watching.
And then something unexpected happened: I started evolving.
Losing everything forced me to expand beyond photography. I gave myself permission to step into acting, writing, and film producing—paths I had been afraid to explore before. What felt like the biggest setback of my career became the moment I stepped into my fullest potential.
Today, not only have I rebuilt my photography and creative brand, but I’m producing films, acting, and creating stories, and getting my photography published in so many fashion magazines.. My audience, my business, and my artistic voice are stronger than ever.
