We were lucky to catch up with Lexi Parker recently and have shared our conversation below.
Lexi, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?
I strongly believe that having the right mindset is the key to success. Skills, resources, and connections are important, but without the right mindset, none of those things will take you far. Success starts internally-with confidence, discipline, and an unshakable belief in yourself. I’ve always trusted that I’m capable of achieving everything I desire, and that belief has guided me through every challenge.
A lot of people underestimated me and never expected me to be where I am today. I was often overlooked, doubted, and even dismissed. But instead of letting that discourage me, l used it as fuel. I stayed focused, moved in silence, and allowed my results to speak for themselves. My journey has shown me that success isn’t about proving people wrong, it’s about proving to yourself that you are capable of achieving everything you set your mind to.
Success is a mindset first. Once you master that, everything else falls into place.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m Lexi, the founder of LexJustFaceIt, a brand and business dedicated to helping people feel confident in their own skin—both literally and figuratively. As a licensed esthetician specializing in corrective skincare, my mission is to help clients embrace their natural beauty, overcome skin concerns like acne and hyperpigmentation, and develop a skincare routine that makes them feel radiant. But beyond skincare, my work is about empowerment. I want people to feel good about themselves, to embrace who they are, and to glow—inside and out.
My journey into the esthetics industry was personal. Growing up, I often felt misunderstood and underestimated, but I never let that define me. Instead, I channeled my experiences into building something meaningful. LexJustFaceIt is more than a skincare business; it’s a movement that encourages self-confidence, self-love, and authenticity. Through my services, content, and future product line, LexGlow, I aim to help people transform—not just their skin, but their mindset.
What sets me apart is my approach. I don’t just offer treatments; I educate, uplift, and inspire. My clients aren’t just receiving a service—they’re gaining knowledge, a safe space to feel seen, and a reminder that they are worthy of feeling beautiful in their own skin. I’m most proud of the impact I’ve made so far, from helping clients achieve their skincare goals to inspiring others to embrace their uniqueness.
For those who follow my journey or are considering working with me, know this: I genuinely care. My work isn’t just about skincare—it’s about helping you feel good about yourself in every way. Whether it’s through a facial, a conversation, or my content, I want people to walk away feeling more confident, more empowered, and more in love with who they are.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One story that truly illustrates my resilience is when I worked as a subcontractor under another esthetician. At the time, I was eager to learn and grow in the industry, but unfortunately, the environment wasn’t as supportive as I had hoped. The esthetician was supposed to mentor me, but instead, I received harsh criticism and little guidance. Despite this, I knew that becoming successful in this field was my goal, so I chose not to let the negativity discourage me.
The lack of support was challenging, but I kept my focus on my own vision. I invested in learning independently, practiced my skills on my own, and worked hard to build my confidence. Even when things felt difficult, I reminded myself why I chose this path: to build a thriving business and help people through my work. Ultimately, I decided to part ways with the esthetician and pursue my own journey, trusting that my skills and determination would carry me forward.
Through this experience, I learned that resilience isn’t just about facing challenges—it’s about maintaining your vision and belief in yourself, even when others try to bring you down. It also taught me that true success comes from perseverance and trusting your own abilities, no matter the circumstances.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
One important lesson I had to unlearn was the belief that I needed to constantly seek validation from others to succeed. Growing up, I was often made to feel like I wasn’t enough or that I had to prove my worth to people, especially in social settings. This mindset carried over into my professional life, and I found myself relying on external approval to measure my own progress.
However, as I began my journey as an esthetician, I realized that true success and fulfillment comes from within. I had to unlearn the need for validation and embrace the fact that my unique path and personal growth were what truly mattered. There was a turning point when I realized that constantly seeking validation was draining and distracting me from my goals. Instead, I began focusing on what truly aligned with my values and vision for the future.
Letting go of that need for outside validation allowed me to step into my own power and be more authentic in my work. It taught me that I don’t need to prove anything to anyone except myself—and that my worth is inherent, regardless of anyone else’s opinion. Now, I feel more confident and clear-headed as I continue to build my business and pursue my dreams.
