Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Letizia Rossi. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Letizia thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
We plan events, we married couples, yet, that’s not all we do. We build venues, We give a chance to every couple or guest to have a forever memory. We tried to accommodate every budget. We give to the community by giving a wedding away to dying brides, planning fundraisers, building landscaping with dying plants, or giving jobs
We always believed being owners, managers, or operational managers is the perfect opportunity to serve others. We love people and give a chance to young men and woman to develop a trade, make something of themself learn independence and confidence to let them know that they got the world in their hands. After all, kids are our future leaders Encourage a talented person to show the world their masterpiece or help an addicted person sober up and enjoy life to the fullest.
This year. we are planning a farmer’s market for talented people in the community that would love to be known, We want to offer a date night on Fridays, with DJ, food, and drinks. We want to offer classes.
Life is not just an earthly place we landed on, yet a place for us to lean on and fulfill our mission.

Letizia, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Growing up, I was the one planning events in the family. It gave me such a high to watch the surprised and joyful expression of my family, Christmas was planned already by March. Birthdays were huge. When I had my children, there was always a reason to dance or celebrate. I have 6 beautiful boys and 4 beautiful girls. People seem to be happier at events, they forget problems and the music leads their body. I always find it so amazing when my talented DJ plays the tunes and people dance. I love when I perform the ceremony and witness my brides and groom tear up realizing that they will be making the ultimate commitment. We care for each one of them, that’s why with our talented vendors we offer all-inclusive for a stress-free event. Everything they need for a successful wedding. This is really not just a job, is a mission, realizing that we are all connected by a higher power.
Is it stressful? Challenging? sometimes yet worth it when my guests tell me how magical it was.
We don’t only work in Pacific Beach, Rossi Events is Mobil, so we travel with our vendors where we are needed.
We want to believe I am making a difference in someone’s life.
I remember a bride calling me one day, telling me she wanted to get married, her doctor gave her a few months, it was her last wish, and that her mom was against it and she would not help her. We told her we would be her family for that time and with our incredible vendors, we donated her a cinderella wedding. She passed away a few months after. Since then we donated few more times. As sad as it is, it was their happier time.
What else should we know about how you took your side hustle and scaled it up into what it is today?
Life is so fascinating.! So many things I want to do and I have learned and done. I have done so many jobs and learned so many skills from incredibly talented leaders. I was born and raised in Florence, Italy, in my country as a young woman you are taught to cook, sew, clean, budget, etc. to help you be a successful adult. I worked in restaurants, starting as a dishwasher, server, pastry chef, and operation manager. I was also in charge of organizing events. I started my own catering business. I was offered to build and manage 2 wedding venues with lodging in Temecula, Ca. It was such a learning humble experience. Building a venue is not about what YOU like but what is useful for your guests and what can give your bride and groom a fairytale. I had to pay attention to details, listen to my couples, be calm and ready to prevent problems, and always have options. I learned what colors the photographer needs as a background, and to trim plants and flowers for a beautiful backdrop. how to read my couples in times of stress and teach my staff members to care and do work with pride. I met incredible vendors that I have been working with for over a decade. With pride, we all congruently work together to deliver a forever memory. I love what I do. I love helping people and the joy I see in their faces gives me a high. I have the perfect partner, Frank, to do all this, He believes in me and is always ready to help, and, puts a lot of love and dedication into the business
Rose Creek Cottage 1900 is our home. We were asked to be the operators. We remodeled planted gardens and developed an all-inclusive package for a stress-free event. and I got my Ministry certificate to marry my couple.
We also travel in different venues and offer the same services.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Covid has been tough on everybody. We had to close down for a year and still pay the bills plus our living expenses. We went cleaning and pruning every week at the cottage to let people know we were still there. Frank and I have been gifted with different skills so we were called to Miami, Dana Point, and Newport to remodel and, Venetian plaster beach houses. I really felt we were being watched over and at the same time, I was still advertising on media to let people know we were still in business and very grateful to Pacific Beach Town Council for believing in us and for their support.
