SubscribeAlright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Leticia Landrau . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Leticia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?
Passion and hard work go hand in hand to be successful in what you do. These two key ingredients pushed me to turn my love for capturing moments into a business.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
Lanaro Visuals, offers Wedding and Portrait Photography in addition to videography services. I’ve loved the arts for as long as I could remember and always dreamt of pursing a career that allowed me to express my creativity.
So, a few sketchbooks, 2 beginner cameras, and a college class later, photography became my perfect match. In addition to a great amount of support from the people around me, I was able to turn my passion into this creative career I hoped for. The name Lanaro Visuals was born in representation of the people who made me what I am and have always been, a creative. It’s simple, Amaro was my last name prior to getting married, then it became Landrau. It was important for me that both names played a role in my art.
I capture real moments with real people. My goal with every session is for my clients to fall in love with what they see on the other side of the camera.
My patience and attention to detail is something I constantly hear from my clients. It’s important for me to allow my creativity to highlight who you are as an individual and/or as a couple.
Creating for the sake of memories, this is the core of my business. Sometimes, those memories are all we have and I get to be play a role in documenting those moments. I am so honored to call it my job.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Even though I was always drawn to the arts such as fashion, dance, photo and film, there was a time I thought medicine and journalism were the choices for me. Needless to say I changed my major 4 times before having my eyes opened to what was in front of me all along. I was in my professor’s office contemplating this very decision and I asked myself the same question I was constantly hearing from everyone, “why aren’t you in the film program?” Photography was something I would do for fun here and there so thought I could make it work in the field I was studying at the time. Learning the video side of storytelling only increased my passion for what then became my current business. I believe this experience made me a better artist.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Individuality and authenticity are so important. I let my work do the talking because, not only does it show my audience the services I offer, but it represents my style and what it looks like to work with me.
Social media is saturated with all sorts of things, but what you bring on and off screen will take you further into greater opportunities than any amount of likes or followers could ever offer.
