Leslie, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?

My hope is that my legacy will be one that inspires people from all walks of life to explore somewhere new. You don’t have to travel states or countries; you’ll be surprised what fun places exist near where you live. But, if you’re given the opportunity, don’t be afraid to leave your sphere. Explore new foods and cultures, and partake in new traditions!

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

My name is Leslie and I work full time as an Account Manager for a small business. I graduated from Chapman University with a M.A. in International Studies and a B.A. in Liberal Studies. During my free time, I enjoy creating content on social media and sharing fun spots to visit in Southern California. I cover everything from restaurants, pop up events, the art scene, nature spots, and so much more! Working as a social media content creator has given me the opportunity to meet wonderful people, some, who have become close friends over the years. I enjoy seeing the creativity of businesses to attract clientele. I love supporting small business most of all to help them grow.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My overall goal is to continue working with businesses to make my audience aware of all the fun and exciting finds in SoCal.

How did you build your audience on social media?

My best advice for anyone who is pursuing growth in social media is to be your authentic self. There are so many individuals that cover travel content creating, however, not everyone will have your style or voice. Be active on your channel, and engage with individuals. You are creating relationships along the way.
