I firmly believe that every event in life has a purpose, and I am deeply passionate about both my work and the reasons driving it. Despite the risks involved in starting my own business, I have no regrets and thoroughly enjoy every moment of the journey.

The journey to launching her small communications business, Goliath Communications, was shaped by a deliberate path of professional growth and personal faith. I spent several years working in agency settings, not only sharpening my communication skills but also gaining valuable insights into the intricacies of running a business. This experience served as the foundation for my entrepreneurial venture. Not long after, I took the bold step of establishing Goliath Communications, a name inspired by my Christian faith and encapsulated by the tagline, “Embrace Your Giants.” The motivation for starting the business was to support first-time business owners who often grapple with fear and uncertainty just like myself when I first started. I aim to be the helping hand that would guide clients through the challenges they faced in the entrepreneurial business world and beyond.
As the founder of Goliath Communications, she has successfully cultivated a thriving business. Her portfolio includes collaborations with renowned brands such as HBO and AT&T, providing a range of services, including digital marketing, social media management, website management, and public relations consulting. Despite these achievements, her primary focus has recently shifted towards a previous passion: working with local public schools. This shift underscores her commitment to making a positive impact in her community and contributing to the growth and development of future generations.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best sources for acquiring new clients for me personally were through networking and having an active involvement in organizations that align with my interests. It is because of these strategies that it allowed me to connect with like-minded individuals who truly appreciate your work and can vouch for your expertise.
Through networking, you can establish genuine relationships and trust, making it more likely for others to recommend your services through word of mouth. By participating in organizations that matter to you, you not only demonstrate your commitment to your field but also attract clients who share your passion, increasing the chances of converting these connections into valuable business opportunities. Ultimately, your work’s quality and your strong connections built through networking become powerful advocates for your business, helping it grow and thrive.

With an unwavering passion for the realm of communications and public relations, I’ve long held on to the belief that I possess the capabilities to embark on an independent journey. After dedicating ten years of my life to the dynamic landscape of public schools, the tumultuous waves of the COVID-19 pandemic acted as a catalyst, compelling me to channel my passion into establishing my own small business. This decision stems from a deep-seated conviction that I can make a meaningful impact and contribute positively to the evolving landscape of communication and public relations.
