We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Lenka Ferak a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Lenka, thanks for joining us today. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?

I started with a background in architecture, where I had the chance to dive into photography and video editing – two skills that became essential in my career as a content creator. From there I studied successful influencers and analyzed top-performing accounts to understand what makes content engaging and unique. If I could start over, I‘d focus on the advice and insights from experienced creators right from the beginning. Also patience is key – sticking with it, even when growth feels slow. Creativity is by far the most essential skill. In such a fast-paced field, finding new ways to express myself visually and keep my audience engaged has been crucial. Time has been my biggest obstacle. Balancing my career as an architect with creating my content was the most challenging part.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Lenka and I am a freedom-loving travel influencer with a passion for exploring the world, whether it’s the depths of a jungle, a vast desert, or a wonderful beach. In addition to my love for travel, fashion also plays a big role in my life. I enjoy blending travel and fashion to inspire my followers—showcasing how clothing can emphasize the unique atmosphere of different locations. I create thoughtful compositions that reflect my love for aesthetics and detail. Furthermore I work with brands and hotels, showcasing their products or properties in pictures or reels with a unique style.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

For me, the most rewarding aspect of being a content creator is the ability to fully express my creativity. I love creating content and sharing the beautiful places i get to see with my audience. Seeing the reactions and knowing that my work resonates with others makes it even more fulfilling.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I started building my community by being consistent and authentic. I focused on creating content that truly reflects my passion for traveling and I made sure to engage with my audience regularly. My advice for those just starting out is to stay true to yourself, be patient and don’t focus only on the numbers.
