Lena, appreciate you joining us today. Alright, so one thing we think people don’t talk about nearly enough is investments – either time or money. What’s one of the best or worst investments you’ve made and what did you learned from the experience?
As a manifestation coach, my journey from corporate life to building my own coaching business has been marked by key decisions, each shaping the trajectory of my career and personal growth. Today, I want to share a story about the best investment I made, providing a glimpse into the lessons learned along the way.
The Best Investment: Betting on Myself
Venturing into the unknown world of entrepreneurship was the most significant and rewarding investment I’ve ever made. The decision wasn’t easy. I had a well-paying job, a predictable routine, and a clear career path. But deep down, I knew I was meant for more. I was passionate about helping others regain their birthright – living the life of joy and extraordinary experiences. This passion drove me to take the leap and start my own coaching business.
The Backstory: It was probably a year or 2 before the pandemic. My husband and I stumbled upon the movie “Secret”. It’s a good one if you haven’t seen it. I was genuinely entertained and somewhat intrigued by the idea that one can create an image in their mind and then manifest it into a physical reality. I can’t tell a lie. It felt a bit too far out there. So I made a joke about how great it would be to get a random check in the mail. To my big surprise, a few days later a long forgotten refund has come into our mailbox. I was mesmerized. How amazing would it be if I could manifest on command? I dove in. My evenings were spent reading about manifestation, personal development, and coaching. Then when the world shut down and we were all locked in our homes, I used newly found “free” time to enroll in various courses, attend online seminars, and connect with like-minded people on every possible social platform. The more I immersed myself in this world, the clearer my path became. Finally I was able to channel all my knowledge into a solid formula for manifestation. I literally unlocked the secret for how to intentionally attract into your life what you would love.
The Decision: With a well-thought-out plan and a lot of faith in my abilities, I invested heavily in personal development, hiring top coaches, and enrolling in high-ticket programs to refine my skills. The financial investment was significant, but the time and energy I dedicated were even more substantial. I was betting on myself, and the stakes were high.
The Outcome: The transition was an experience, but it paid off beyond my wildest dreams. My coaching business took off, and I began helping entrepreneurs scale their businesses and overcome income plateaus using the power of their mind. I was showing people how to rewrite their money story and rewire their brain to receive abundance in every aspect of their life, starting with their business. The fulfillment and joy I felt were unparalleled. I was finally living my purpose, and the financial rewards followed. The lesson here was clear: the best investment you can make is in yourself and your dreams. When you align with your true purpose and take bold actions, the universe conspires to support you.
Lessons Learned
1. Invest in Yourself: The most impactful investment is the one you make in your personal and professional growth. Believe in your abilities and remember that any limiting belief is just a thought that at some point you chose to accept as your truth.
2. Stay Authentic: Authenticity is your strongest asset. Align your investments with your values and vision. Avoid the temptation of quick fixes that compromise your integrity.
3. Trust Your Intuition: Your intuition is a powerful guide. I call it your original factory setting and your soul’s GPS. Listen to it, and don’t attempt to override it just because you think you know a “shortcut”.
4. Embrace the Journey: Both successes and failures are part of the entrepreneurial journey. Each investment, whether good or bad, brings valuable lessons that contribute to your growth and resilience. Enjoy the experience. This is what the life is all about.
5. You don’t have to do this alone. Hire a coach. Even the most talented athletes work with one (or a whole team) to help them reach their best.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I began studying psychology back in the last century. Literally. My undergraduate degree is in Human Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. And this is something that you will learn about me – I absolutely love the science behind the magic of manifestation. It drove me to advance my degree and since I am a Gemini, I love many things. So my Master’s is in Industrial Organization Psychology.
For about a quarter of a century I have been in a variety of leadership position in Corporate America, working with large teams and even larger visionaries on blueprinting and then delivering on the results. Over time I realized that the process is formulaic and not that much different from how we use the power of our mind to attract what we want into our life.
At that point in time I dove deep into the science side of manifestation. Quantum physics, psychoanalysis, behavioral studies – you name it, I devoured it. I also studied some of the leading masterminds in the field of conscious manifestation.
Eventually I discovered the formula for manifestation that when applied, delivers you results “like da boss”. Did I tell you that I am a Gemini? So naturally I love things that are straightforward, easy to do and must be fun. This is my approach to demystifying manifestation. If you can hold it in your mind, you can hold it in your hand.
Today I work with many business professionals and successful entrepreneurs, who while are the picture of success based on society standards, experience a sense of void. That feeling is from a misalignment between living the life by default versus by design.
Together I help them create a clear and specific blueprint, remove any old programming that may be blocking it from coming into their life, and celebrate them stepping into the best-est (yes, it’s a word) version of themselves.
Those limiting beliefs that form the “itty-bitty-shitty-committee” in your mind will have no power over you after we get to rewire your mindset to effortlessly receive abundance in all areas of your life, just like it was meant for you!
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Growing up in Eastern Europe, I was surrounded by deeply ingrained beliefs about money. These beliefs, passed down through generations, shaped my mindset and influenced how I perceived financial success. Statements like “you work hard for your money,” “you can’t make a lot of it in an honest way,” and “you must save for a rainy day” were woven into the fabric of everyday life. As I was transitioning to become an entrepreneur myself in now a new identity of a successful manifestation coach, unlearning these limiting beliefs became a crucial part of my journey.
The Backstory: A Childhood in Eastern Europe
My upbringing in Eastern Europe was marked by a strong work ethic and a cautious approach to money. The cultural narrative was clear: financial success was the result of hard, often grueling work. Prosperity was viewed with suspicion, and there was a universal belief that significant wealth could only be attained through dishonest means. In fact having your own business was a criminal activity till a certain point. Additionally, the habit of saving for a rainy day was deeply rooted, instilling a mindset of scarcity rather than abundance. These beliefs served their purpose in a context where economic stability was uncertain, and opportunities were limited. However, as I began to explore the world of entrepreneurship and manifestation, I realized that these ingrained beliefs were holding me back from reaching my full potential. While it was very well my ancestors’ money story, it served its purpose but was no longer serving me. I have made a decision that this narrative would stop with me.
The Decision to Change: Embracing a New Mindset
The turning point came when I pursued my passion for coaching. I knew that to succeed, I needed to shift my mindset from one of scarcity to one of abundance. I mean was I truly about to embark on an illegal activity? That is what my great grandma would think.
This required unlearning the limiting thoughts that had been instilled in me since childhood and adopting a new set of empowering beliefs about money and success. I started by immersing myself in personal development and manifestation practices. I read books, attended seminars, and worked with mentors who had successfully transformed their own financial mindsets. One of the most powerful steps was practicing daily affirmations and visualization techniques to reprogram my subconscious mind. I would affirm statements like, “Money flows to me easily and abundantly,” and “I am worthy of financial success.” I was gradually molding myself into a new identity with my desire already achieved. It was the epic transformation of both my mind and my life.
The Challenges: Overcoming Deep-Rooted Beliefs
Unlearning these limiting beliefs wasn’t an overnight process. It required consistent effort and self-awareness. I faced internal resistance, as my old beliefs would often resurface during challenging times. For instance, when I invested in high-ticket coaching programs or took financial risks to grow my business, the voice of caution and doubt would echo in my mind. “Are you sure this is the right move? What if it doesn’t pay off?”
The Breakthrough: Shifting to an Abundance Mindset
Over time, these efforts paid off. I began to see tangible changes in my business and personal life. My coaching business flourished, and I attracted clients who resonated with my message of empowerment and abundance. Financial opportunities that once seemed out of reach started to manifest effortlessly. One of the most significant breakthroughs came when I fully embraced the idea that money is a tool for creating positive impact and that there is enough for everyone. This shift allowed me to release the fear and scarcity mindset that had held me back for so long. I started to view money as a means to amplify my purpose and serve more people.
The Lessons Learned
1. Beliefs Shape Reality: Our beliefs about money directly influence our financial reality. By changing our mindset, we can transform our financial outcomes.
2. Abundance Over Scarcity: Adopting an abundance mindset opens up limitless possibilities. There is enough wealth for everyone, and success does not have to come at the expense of integrity.
3. Continuous Growth: Unlearning limiting beliefs is an ongoing process. It requires dedication, self-awareness, and a willingness to challenge deeply ingrained thought patterns.
4. Community Support: Surrounding yourself with a supportive community is crucial. Positive reinforcement and shared experiences can accelerate your journey towards an abundance mindset. Remember, you don’t need to do this alone. I certainly didn’t.
How did you build your audience on social media?
When I was starting my business and becoming a manifestation coach, I knew that building a strong community would be key to my success. I wanted to create a space where individuals could come together, support each other, and learn from one another. The idea was to form a group where people could quit living by default and instead, live the life they love by design. A private Facebook group seemed like the perfect platform to achieve this vision.
The Implementation: Building the Group
Starting the group was an exciting venture. I began by inviting a few clients and colleagues who shared my passion for manifestation and personal development. The initial members were enthusiastic and eager to contribute, setting a positive tone for the community. I dedicated time to curate valuable content that would resonate with the group members. This included live videos, manifestation techniques, and success stories. The goal was to provide consistent value and actionable insights that members could apply in their daily lives. The “Life by Design | Paradigm Shift for Entrepreneurs” Facebook group was born.
The Engagement: Fostering Interaction and Support
One of the key elements that made the group successful was fostering interaction and support among members. I encouraged everyone to share their experiences, ask questions, and provide feedback. Regular engagement activities, such as weekly Q&A sessions and themed discussions, helped to keep the energy vibrant and the conversations flowing.
I also made it a point to be actively involved, personally responding to questions and offering guidance. This not only built trust but also created a sense of accessibility and connection. Members knew they were part of a supportive and interactive community where their voices were heard and valued.
The Transformation: Creating a Ripple Effect
The impact of the group quickly became evident. Members started reporting significant shifts in their mindset and results. They were manifesting new opportunities, experiencing greater joy, and feeling more empowered in their lives. They were closing new sales at unprecedented rates for their business, attracting happy paying clients effortlessly, making more while working less.
The collective energy of the group amplified individual successes, creating a ripple effect of positivity and transformation. One of the most rewarding aspects was witnessing members support each other. They celebrated wins together, offered encouragement during challenging times, and shared valuable insights. This camaraderie fostered a sense of belonging and mutual growth, reinforcing the group’s purpose.
