Leilani, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Was there an experience or lesson you learned at a previous job that’s benefited your career afterwards?
The best lesson that I learned from one of my mentors was to move through your fear. And with every new stage, comes new fears. So keep pressing forward.
Every single person at every stage of their business or career has some sort of fear, so you can either let it hold you back and not do a single thing, or you move through it.
I choose every day to move through it.

I am a Personal Stylist and Image Consultant, dedicated to empowering women professionals and entrepreneurs by elevating their style and brand image to secure that promotion or attract their ideal clients.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
There are 4 strategies that have been the most effective for growing my clientele:
1. To think about the version of myself that I want to become and act like her every single day.
2. Be clear on who I want to help. Think about the issues that they face and how I can help them.
3. Have a clear process that ensures consistency through all my services.
4. Articulate a clear result by painting a picture of how I will take my clients from where they are now, to the version of themselves that they want to become.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a personal stylist is witnessing how an outer transformation sparks a profound inner change.
Style is both fun and empowering, and it impacts every one of us. Every day, we choose how we present ourselves to the world. The way you dress speaks volumes—not just to others, but to yourself—about the woman you are. When you dress in a way that makes you feel confident and powerful, you unlock the potential to take bold steps in life that you may have previously hesitated to take.
