We recently connected with Legasse Remon and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Legasse thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
In 2019, millions of people we’re signing up for social media platforms at an alarming rate, and companies sought to capitalize on marketing tactics to promote their brands. Many of my peers in high school were using Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook in high school. But how did companies actually make money from keeping us on the app? I asked. In 11th grade, I read a research paper my AP Computer Science teacher showed us about “AI” and how it can turn text into images and video. This fascinated me, I wondered how I could combine the two ideas of AI and social media to create a new method for companies to use instead of simple advertisements. In 2021, AI became more publicized and the use of artificial agents allowed for video creation and product marketing to be more efficient than ever. This idea spiraled into the term “artificial creators” and “content automation” which are psuedo-branches of social media marketing. Notably, tech researchers and entrepreneurs caught on and we helped coin the invention of artificial people and artificial content, created for the sole purpose of consumption through marketing. Instead of companies relying on real people to create content, hiring a production team, managers, budgeting, etc., a computer could create videos which artificially generated people from a prompt inside their desired production advertisement. This endeavor and idea lasted years until becoming replicated and revolutionized in 2022 when it spurred into action. This unique approach saved companies time, money, and automated the production of advertisements. Since then, I have sold off this business and moved into a life in content creation.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Legasse, 20, I study Computer Science at the University of Florida, I have a research background in cybersecurity and machine learning, I have been doing social media marketing and founded growth teams, securing millions in revenue at various startups since 2021. More recently, I have started to develop a career as a content creator.
I was always interested in social media, since it influenced our daily lives and our perception of others. I had grown up learning to code and using computers, and combined the usage of AI and social media marketing to scale brands. This meant developing new marketing tactics, launching brands online, generating artificial content, creating a unique “flavor” around brands and more.
My line of work is highly technical and social. I provide expertise for companies and individuals on how to grow their products or services on social media. I have a deep understanding of algorithms and how to launch campaigns for specific sectors online. I do this by maximizing psychological variables, developing brand-specific marketing tactics, being unconventional with video ideas, and mass campaigning ambassadors. With this, cutting time and cost with AI to generate videos, artificial people, and making your life easy with a prompt. Many companies have yet to leverage the use of AI with automation to product artificial individuals that promote products. In short, “I help your brand go viral.”
From step 0 to 100, the numbers rising is proportional to the sales increasing for a product, it’s always satisfying to see a brand go from zero to hero by following a formula that attracts people from all over.

Have you ever had to pivot?
I pivoted my line of work 3 times within the last 6 years. I had doubts about AI and social media, and went into reselling, renting cars on various platforms, and even dropshipping. I was consistently jumping all over in business models because I doubted myself so much about the idea I have in 11th grade with AI until it started to come to fruition in college. There isn’t much to the story: I kept pivoting to different business models, failed, then tried another. My recommendation is to stick to something completely and don’t give up on it. Get as much advice and input on it as you can over time.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Being authentic, posting videos every day, always increasing the quality of your videos, engaging with the people who like and follow you, respond to every comment, post stories, do everything and anything you can to show people who you truly are online as you would in person and you will find people just like you. That is the ideal audience you want to create and how I crafted my feed into displaying authenticity and consistency. Although, my videos consist of a jumbled mess of my thoughts in life spanning from topics in technology to financial literacy; but that’s ok. People should not have to stick to one aspect of their life, a niche. You must BECOME the niche, and be appreciated for all aspects of your life.
I have three tips that are basic, but most important if you start on social media:
1. Post your authentic self: voice and video
2. Post every single day about something you are passionate about
3. Always make the next video better in some way than the last (editing, scripting, quality)
