Lefty, appreciate you joining us today. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?

My album entitled Virginia..brings to the for front of poverty and death to an environment at a time when drugs were often used as a means to make money but also how it infested and demolished communities and destroyed family’s..my world is graphic and it’s not for the faint at heart but it describes a multitude of how we overcame such a horrific state of events …I shared these stories on my project which is in all platforms, Apple music, Spotify,Iheart radio and numerous underground radio stations..

Lefty, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I am David Snead I go by the rapper Lefty Pachino I’m from Norfolk VA , .. rapping for me was like a bucket list from a incident that left me unable to walk for a time due to gun violence..I tell stories based off actual facts from my time line and I bring these stories into the now so that young people will gravitate and see the seriousness of what we had to endure,my discipline are my children I’m a father of three ,so it enables me to separate the two …Lefty and Dad ,I am most proud of the fact that I can tell these stories and still remain humble and trust in God .I would want my followers to know that just believing in yourself and bettering yourself requires you to understand yourself ,I have built a brand from factual storylines and networking my craft to give A first hand view if you will ,to the things that life brings in a certain setting my brand tells a story that brought family’s closer after the storm ..

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

The lesson I had to learn was that life is what you make it , despite of your situation you have to find peace and an outlet ,I built my brand in a special way a specific way but it was the way that was true to me and true to the ones that passed during this tragic time, I had to unlearn that nothing comes easy ,hard work and confidence is a must.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

I would say society needs to be open and except what was put in place and allow people to demonstrate in a safe way their views and thoughts on this life and what it entails
