We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Leeza Klimetz a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Leeza, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So, what do you think about family businesses? Would you want your children or other family members to one day join your business?

We are a family business! A Perfect Bite was created from our family traditions and specifically, it was my oldest son that inspired the company. Our clients know that their order may be delivered by my husband or they may see our kids on our Instagram. And we love serving other families! We’re in a great community and love being a part of all their memories with their family & friends as well.

A Perfect Bite is a charcuterie business based in Suwanee, GA. We create custom charcuterie arrangements and grazing tables for any size event, from date nights to weddings. We serve Gwinnett County and the surrounding area. No matter the occasion we can create something special for you and your guests- charcuterie boards, cups, cones, personalized boards and grazing tables- let us help bring your vision to life!

APB was born during the pandemic, when we were making boards with our son for family movie nights. Charcuterie has always been a family favorite and with some encouragement, we launched this business.

We have a love for good food and drink, entertaining and all the memories that can be made. APB wants to share that love with our clients. Let us do the work while you relax and enjoy the time with your guests.

We also offer charcuterie classes. Need something fun and new for date night, girls night, a birthday party or your corporate team building? Our charcuterie class is it! We’ll teach you all the tricks and tips that we use everyday and you’ll have the chance to create a beautiful board of your own.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

We’re in a great community and referrals have been our best source for new clients. We’re so grateful our clients share their experiences and photos/videos of our arrangements.

How did you build your audience on social media?

We put a lot of time into our social media and we’ve really tried to grow our pages organically. Our Instagram has the largest following and a lot of that has to do with the content we share. Not only are we showing our arrangements but we’re showing tips and tricks for creating your own charcuterie boards at home. If I could give any advice to someone just starting a social media following, I’d tell them to be consistent, make content you enjoy and don’t sweat the number of likes and followers. It’s hard to not compare yourself or your company to others on social media, but even if you just get one follower a day, that’s one more potential new client.
