We recently connected with Leesa Epperson and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Leesa thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. The first dollar your firm earns is always special. We’d love to hear about how you got your first client that wasn’t a friend or family.
As a realtor majority of your leads/clients will come from your sphere of influence. The people you know in the area friends, family, co-workers etc… This can be easier for some than others but for someone like me who is a transplant to the area with little to no friends at the time I turned to cold calling. I would contact people trying to sell their home on their own and share my services and expertise. After a listing appointment the client hired me to sell their home. I was so excited to have gained a listing just two months into my new career as a realtor when on average it can take up to six months. I list the clients home and we sell in 21 days which was less than the average during that time to sell less than 30 days on the market. Not only was it a quick sell it was an all cash offer! I was not only excited for myself but more importantly my clients who was wanting to sell to move closer to aging parents. It was an absolute pleasure to help this family get top dollar for their home and help them reach their goal of moving closer to family.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
As a local realtor I pride myself in putting my clients best interest at the core of my business. I don’t pressure my clients or be too “salesy” but to really help my clients understand the process of buying/selling a home and provide them with knowledge and information for them to make the best decision for my their situation and goals. I am very faith based in my business and truly believe God will provide for my business and allow me to help those who are meant for me to help which allows me to focus on my clients needs and not my own needs or my business needs. I get so much joy seeing my clients face when they realize their goal is about to be a reality!

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Social media has been a huge factor in my career. Being able to connect with other local moms looking for real estate expertise has shaped my whole business. After gaining a positive reputation with local groups of mothers and people on social media I begin to get referrals with their friends/family etc..

Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I enjoy keeping in touch with past clients or people who support my business. I do this by randomly stopping by and dropping off little treats for them. I keep in touch by text/calling and checking in with them. I also continue to provide further real estate information that will be helpful to my clients.
