Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lee Eddy. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Lee, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Let’s jump right into how you came up with the idea?

As a Bible teacher it is important to get the information to people. My wife told me, I love your teaching books, but if you want to get a teaching to someone, tell it in a story.” that put me done the path of listening to God about how to get this across to people and what story to tell. It has been an adventure ever since.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?

People just don’t understand what the Bible is about and what is in it. It has been frustrating to see people in various bad situation without knowing the solution is right at hand. How do I get the right information to them in a way they can understand it and apply it? I have seen many people set free from various addictions and there are so many out there that are still stuck without knowing the pathway to freedom. Since I was set free from an addiction to pornography, it has been my focus to help others gain that freedom. It has taken years, but the pathway is now at hand. My problem is how to get that into the lives of those who need it.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

Since I was a child, I’ve had a passion for books. Reading them is different than writing them. While reading you can immerse yourself into the story and live it with the author. When writing, you have to create the world so that others can join it and live through your creativity. Since I am a Bible teacher, all of my stories must reflect the teachings of the Bible and our relationship with Jesus Christ. This elevates everything to such a higher realm and a much more important goal. Everything jumped up in importance and scope.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

I have developed a conference that gets men set free from lust and pornography. It’s quite involved and fakes up a Friday Night and most of the day on Saturday. Through this we soak men into the Scriptures and show them the avenues of freedom and the tools to do it. These are the men who want to know more and want to see how their experience can be used for others and to fill their imaginations with the freedom and the images they will need to maintain that freedom. Their enthusiasm is what propels the books to be distributed to other men in similar situation. the more we contact other men the greater the word will be given for freedom to others.
