We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Lee Crawford . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Lee below.
Hi Lee, thanks for joining us today. How did you learn to do what you do? Knowing what you know now, what could you have done to speed up your learning process? What skills do you think were most essential? What obstacles stood in the way of learning more?
I’ve actually had a lot of formal training academically as well as experience in what I do and I feel that’s the biggest asset that I have in carrying out my duties .
At 17 I was heavily into art and design, I studied architecture and drafting and became a Mechanical engineer coming out of high-school.
I then went to college to pursue dual degree in mathematics and engineering, However, most of my experience was through pledging organizations and fraternities which taught me leadership and how to work as a team.
I entered the military as an I.T. Information Systems Technician. This also gave me governmental training and the benefit of financial support and assistance beyond my discharge.
After a few unpredictable matters that had set me back in life I was steered into the church.
At this time becoming spiritually aware I learned how to use the knowledge tools and information that God was giving me into bettering myself I also became a youth minister and created a successful business which gave me the opportunity to give back to my community as well as ministering to disadvantaged youths. This also taught me how to lead and how to incorporate my talents for a higher purpose. Which is extremely important to me.
Lastly various certifications additional college courses and being around some of the most influential people in business has given me great opportunities to grow and show what I can do
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
