We recently connected with Lecasshius Stargell and have shared our conversation below.
Lecasshius , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Have you been able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen? Was it like that from day one? If not, what were some of the major steps and milestones and do you think you could have sped up the process somehow knowing what you know now?
Yes, By the grace of God and his love bestowed upon me, I have been fortunate enough to earn a full time living from my Creative Work and Career path. Let’s get into it, the journey was more than difficult but has over the years become a beautiful struggle in hindsight. I could never say I was earning from day one, and I’m Not certain that I have recouped financially what I initially Invested with no knowledge in my Earlier Years. Financially I would say I’m at the halfway mark of getting back what I’ve initially put in, but if were looking at resources, opportunities, and great mentors Met upon this journey, it out values the finances by at least 10x. These days I am blessed to make A Stable Earning with my Creative Career Choice.
In the Earlier stages I had no knowledge of how I would become financially stable. All I knew was i had a love for music and I wanted the world to hear my taste, and other creatives taste around me. We all thought that we would perform or play our song for someone like T.I., Master P, LA Reid, Jeezy, Etc., they would like they song and give us a million dollars. Boy, were we wrong. By this time, we all have quit our jobs to do music 24/7. My friend Salvatore Perigo and Rico Langford Turned Both Of their homes into full time studios and offices. Over 5-10k Worth of Recording and Video Equipment. We didn’t understand running all of that electricity constantly recording, monthly, that our light bills would exceed over $2000-$3000 Easily At one location. This Frustrated all of us quickly, and ultimately paved the path for knowledge of how to make money from our creative works.
The major turning point for me was when i received a check for a platinum record and it was $22.43. This ultimately caused me to inquire more about the business. Yes, I was frustrated at the amount, but then I said, “With the Proper Knowledge, next time there will be some zeros added to that number.” Again, I was highly upset at the amount, but if someone is willing to pay you for works, no matter the amount, it’s your duty as a creative to maximize the amount. Whether that’s learning how to monetize your Gameplay online with Xbox/PC, learning to register your music before releasing, or learning about the different types of royalties in music. It’s your duty to learn and earn. Once i dove deep into the BUSINESS of my passion, and didn’t just focus on my passion, lets just say those next checks were enough to get my engine roaring.
This pivotal point in my life I would say helped mold and shape the Creative I am Today.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I specialize in getting a person from one point to their next destination. I’m most known for keeping my word. I won’t ever promise an artist or creator that I can make them a star, but one thing I’m almost certain of Is that I can get them a step closer to being a star and that’s what I believe also separates me from others. I’m realistic, reliable, and honest.
Discipline Is key. You’re going to have many distractions, but you have to listen to that still small voice in your head to help to your ideas and dreams to a reality you can touch and edit.

What I’m most proud of is so far, I’ve grown spiritually even in this industry lol, but also my artist and Good Brother Guaptarantino, watching him become serious about the craft helped me stay serious about the craft. He is so resilient, and his work ethic is like watching Future In the early stages. He is For Sure the next household name in The Hip-hop Community
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
The mission that driving my creative journey, is to show underprivileged kids and minorities that with discipline and persistence you can accomplish anything that you want in your life. your environment and surroundings have to determine where or how far you go. your attitude determines your altitude.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
I think NFTS Are cool. I don’t have very much knowledge on them, but I do know that a collectible in the meta verse would be very cool to have saved in some files 100 years from now lol .
