Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Leanna Ramos. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Leanna, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What’s the kindest thing anyone has ever done for you?
The greatest kindness I’ve experienced is being embraced as part of others’ families, whether by close friends or strangers who have offered knowledge and opportunities without expecting anything in return. In a world where generosity can seem scarce, I’m deeply grateful for every act of kindness, big or small, that has enriched my life.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
As a beginner, the most effective strategy for growing my clientele was offering my services for free or at a discounted price. This allowed me to build a portfolio and showcase my work, establishing credibility and attracting potential clients. Although there was no immediate financial gain, I viewed it as an investment in my passion, knowing that building a solid foundation was essential for long-term success in the industry.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Growing up in Brooklyn, New York, my world revolved around basketball, strictly street ball to be exact. Moving to Atlanta at 12years old was a significant change, but basketball remained a constant. Despite thinking basketball was my passion, it was through receiving a scholarship for the sport and attending college that I discovered my true passion for the film industry. Grateful for every obstacle life has thrown at me, for it was either a lesson or a blessing I have no regrets.
