We were lucky to catch up with Lea Marie Perfetti recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Lea Marie thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.

After being a successful, international Ashtanga Yoga teacher, for over 20 years, I had a massive burn out in 2021. I had already started mentoring people as an Astrologer since 2010, and had started specifically leading women’s groups, but the burn out pushed me to really examine who I was and be loyal to that truth. Being able to “look” my burn out I the face through medical intervention and therapy, I was able to become my true self an my authentic work starting pouring put of me.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

After graduating from Syracuse University, I decided to travel to India to study yoga. That was in 2003. That was when I decided to dedicate my life to health and well being. I had my first contact with astrology in India. After 2003, I decided to travel and teach globally and raise three children abroad. Unit last year, when I returned to the USA after over 20 years away.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

What helped me to build my reputation within in my market was my consistency and devotion to the practices I was sharing. I never taught or shared things to clients that I was not doing myself. In healing, you have to be honest to what works and does not work, and see every person as unique, using your experience, lived and with clients, to authentically help others. I never faked anything to try to get ahead, I used practiced experience always.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?

The most effective strategy for building clientele, is “word of mouth.’ My business has grown continuously over the years, because I have rarely lost a client and my clients always pass my information onwards.
