We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Lawrence Rivers a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Lawrence , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about how you learned to do what you do?

Well I started out by just watching YouTube Videos, Then I reached out to other well known engineers in my city to learn then I started expanding to city’s like Atlanta & Miami and learned from some of the best there. Being Understanding and Patience those are the biggest two things I have and they took me farther then anything else. Just the understanding all the lil Nuances that came with it

Lawrence , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is Lawrence Rivers And I am an audio engineer. I’ve worked with some of the biggest artist in the world, such as NBA YoungBoy Fantasia, H.E.R And Quando Rondo I provide recording services for all artists of all genres. I’m most proud of my dedication And hard work. I want everybody to know how much music means to me and how much it has changed my life

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

So I own the number one studio in Savannah and I recently left and came back home to get a better feel for the type of music that I wanted to make and the type of things that I wanted to do so yes it’s been a little difficult, but it’s also helped me grow a lot and understand who I am

Alright – so here’s a fun one. What do you think about NFTs?

To be honest, I don’t have too much knowledge about NFT’s, but from what I do know, they’re a great investment just depending on what you do with them and how they rock and how they roll
