We were lucky to catch up with Lavon Mckethan recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Lavon, thanks for joining us today. What was the most important lesson/experience you had in a job that has helped you in your professional career?

From my past jobs I have learned marketing & metrics but most importantly it taught me the value of customer satisfaction.

I’m Lavon McKethan and I created this company as a way to get fellow associates careers started. There’re a lot of great talented people on Fayetteville, NC and I hope my business can show that positive side. Along with employing certain artists for particular jobs.

Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?

As someone once told me “ You create a ladder laying down not standing straight up”. Meaning that “you work on yourself and then work with the person who’s most accessible to you.” That’s the best resource available to you along side of the internet.

Depending on what you need, I can guarantee you’ll find it under your nose.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

My goal and mission is to give small business a decent of great film or commercial regardless of their budget. Also it a to give my peers a place to create freely a jumpstart their careers.
