We recently connected with Lavender Fields and have shared our conversation below.
Lavender, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Earning a full time living from one’s creative career can be incredibly difficult. Have you been able to do so and if so, can you share some of the key parts of your journey and any important advice or lessons that might help creatives who haven’t been able to yet?
It feels great to be a full time artist
Lavender, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I grew up playing classical music and have always been surrounded by music as a child. After graduating from Baruch College in NYC with a degree in journalism and creative writing, I re ignited by passion for music and started composing my first original songs with acoustic instruments. in 2017 I attended Dubspot music production school in Los Angeles, where I learnt how to produce electronic music. Ever since then I have been traveling the world and sharing my music.
What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
My mission is to “Light Up The World” which to be translates into creating uplifting music that people can tune into and feel peace. I am aiming to leave a legacy of love for the generations to come.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Being free in the world and fulfilling our God given assignment.
