Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lavada Wright. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, Lavada thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?

Well you always hear consistency and passion for what your doing so that goes without asking. However, it really takes a lot of reading and studying. All I do is research and study, then apply what I learned and try to figure out myself on how to do things. As an entrepreneur, I had to learn how to do many jobs to save money because growing a business is expensive. So using your free resources around you was key as well learning what you can and seeing what works with your business.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

My name is Lavada Wright, I am a Wife, Mother of 7, Author, and Owner of Haircredible Hair Care. Haircredible came about by suffereing constant hair loss as I dealt with being anemic, stress, and even traction alopecia. It came to a time where I developed small circles all around my head and I could not get my hair to grow. At the time, I worked security next door to a doctor who I had built a relationship with all the receptionist and doctor assistants. I cried to them showing my issues and ask them was there anyway they can help me and they suggessted the needle injections to my scalp. I could not afford it as at the time I was a single mother of two beautiful girls at the time. So, they decided to bring me in after hours and do it for 40 dollars under the table. This was extremely painful, however, it only put a few strands in the bald spots and I was not satisfied with that. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands instead of keep crying about it. I started playing around with different products, oils, butters, and the list goes. I started doing massive research on what plants focuses on scalp at the follicle level. I then seeked out for a chemist to start testing around formulas. Soon… Haircredible was created once I tested out the formulas and found what actually grew my hair back.

I started out creating products specifically catering to Natural Fine Hair but as so many people loved the products that I now cater to All Hair Types. Haircredible has two collections and the first is my Biotin and Growth Collection as well my Moisturizing Collection filled with Botanical ingredients. I am most proud of my Biotin Collection because this is the collection that is currently in beauty supply stores and I have made it into 50 Target Stores Worldwide. This is my biggest accomplishment in my entrepreneur career and I am praying to go further and make haircredible a bigger brand.
