Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Lauren & Pamela Bragg & Abbott-Mouchou. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Lauren & Pamela , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about one of the craziest things you’ve experienced in your journey so far.
Many believe that feng shui is all about design and creating calm, beautiful spaces (the “shui”). But, it’s much more than that. The “feng” or wind, or what you can’t see, is about being the architect of positive change in your life. When you move things around in your space with intention, you are suddenly adding the best possible outcome to any situation. For example, one client who yearned for a new love in her life, found her partner after only two weeks following the removal of pictures of single goddesses in the “love & marriage” area of her home, replacing them with paired items. We’ve had many clients who have had similar results!
Lauren & Pamela , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
The Feng Shui Collective became official in 2019, after we had done numerous workshops focusing on goal setting and feng shui. They realized that their two practices were a perfect match, because “feng” is all about setting intentional goals, and every goal in feng shui has a “power spot” in physical spaces. Since we began, we have continued to provide workshops and professional development classes worldwide, visit homes and businesses for private consultations, and have presented cooking classes that focus on feng shui in the kitchen using the Five Elements.
Through each of these offerings, we teach how feng shui can be used as a lifelong practice to create not only calm, beautiful spaces, but also to provide hope to our clients for an even brighter future.
We are most proud of the recognition we have received through all forms of media, our Instagram following, and, most recently, the endorsement of the International Feng Shui Guild for our Feng Shui Certification Course for Designers and Real Estate Professional, scheduled to launch early in 2024. And, of course, we are proud of our special mother/daughter business partnership.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Prior to Covid, our business was conducted within a relatively small, in-person radius through consultations, workshops and public speaking. Once all of those avenues were closed off to us, we pivoted to utilize technology to create online learning programs and courses that ultimately allowed us to become an international business.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Our social media audience has grown using a few key practices. We recommend strategically crafting your hashtag strategy and creating a niche market for your business. Also, in our experience, it’s important to build positive relationships – reaching out to others and timely response to DM’s. Lastly, make sure that your content is on brand, beautiful to look at and consistent.
