We recently connected with Lauren Jackson and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Lauren, thanks for joining us today. We’d love to have you retell us the story behind how you came up with the idea for your business, I think our audience would really enjoy hearing the backstory.
From the time I was a small child I had an undying love for all things pink and a passion for organizing. I loved watching a space transform and come to life. It was like magic, swooping in decluttering spaces into organized, functional areas that were both beautiful and practical. However, my passion for organizing didn’t stop at just physical spaces. I developed a love for organizing life events, careers, and even travel adventures for my loved ones. And thus, Organize PINK By: Lauren J. was born!
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I’m Lauren Jackson — a proud wife, girl mom, Human Resources professional and most recently a certified Komari® Consultant. After almost a decade in this field, I’ve been on both sides of the desk, organizing, reviewing resumes, and extending offers to candidates.
Through it all, I’ve discovered one core truth: Organization is the key to success at work and home.
I empower women to take charge of their personal lives and professional careers!
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I started Organize Pink at the beginning of 2017 with the goal of leaving my full time job by the end of the year. However, having a senior in high school and another child still having 5 years of school left, it proved to be more difficult than I thought. I decided it would be best to continue working my full time corporate job so that I could focus on my girls. I took on clients part time and continued growing my business. In April of this year I decided to focus full time on Organize Pink and couldn’t be more excited.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Growing an audience on social media is supposedly all about the algorithm but who really knows lol. For me the way I’ve grown my audience is by creating engaging content, following companies similar to mine, being consistent in my posting, ensuring my posts are clear, and absolutely having good photos. However, I feel that I am still in my growing phase and have room for improvement.
