Lauren, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
Leaving behind comfort and certainty to follow my passion for beauty and wellness as well as flexibility. I came from big hospitals that felt more like quantity vs quality. I wanted more time with my family and more autonomy. Therefore, I started my own practice. Just as I laid the foundation for my new venture, I became pregnant with my second child. Balancing the demands of a growing family and a fledgling business, I powered through with resilience and a vision. I poured my heart into every detail, training, and patient experience. My dedication quickly paid off as the practice began to thrive. I worked along side Jill, my now business partner and we collaborated with everything business. Recognizing the power of collaboration, we later merged our businesses to expand our services and elevate the patient experience. Together, we have built one of Nashville’s fastest-growing and most trusted aesthetics practices all while still growing and being present for our families.

What sets me apart in the aesthetics industry is a deep commitment to personalized, results-driven care that empowers clients to feel confident in their own skin. My practice blends cutting-edge treatments with a warm, welcoming environment where every patient feels seen, heard, and valued. We offer a full range of services—from injectables and skin rejuvenation to advanced facial treatments and customized skincare regimens—all tailored to each individual’s unique goals. I pride myself on staying ahead of industry trends while maintaining the highest standards of safety and natural-looking results. What makes my brand truly different is the genuine connection I build with each client; it’s not just about aesthetics, it’s about self-confidence and transformation. I’m most proud of the community we’ve created—a space where people feel uplifted and inspired. I want potential clients and followers to know that when they walk through our doors, they’re not just getting a treatment—they’re becoming part of something meaningful.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
What helped me build a strong reputation within my market was a combination of authenticity, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to quality. From the beginning, I focused on creating real relationships with my clients—listening to their concerns, educating them about their options, and delivering results that enhance rather than alter their natural beauty. Word-of-mouth referrals, glowing reviews, and client loyalty have been instrumental in growing the practice. I also prioritized staying current in the industry, investing in ongoing education and bringing in the latest, most effective technologies and techniques.Ultimately, I believe my reputation was built on trust—clients know I genuinely care about their outcomes and their experience, and that level of care isn’t something you can fake.

Any advice for managing a team?
We are pretty lucky as we have an amazing team. I feel managing a team and maintaining high morale starts with clear communication, genuine appreciation, and creating a culture where everyone feels valued and empowered. My biggest piece of advice is to lead by example—show up with integrity, work ethic, and kindness, and your team will follow suit. Set clear expectations, but also create space for open dialogue, feedback, and collaboration. Celebrate wins, both big and small, and make time to recognize individual contributions. Encourage professional growth by investing in training and development opportunities, and always be transparent about goals and challenges. People thrive when they feel supported, respected, and part of something bigger than themselves. When your team knows they’re seen, heard, and essential to the mission, morale naturally stays high—even in the busiest or most stressful seasons.
