Lauren, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
I graduated from College during the last major recession and knew a typical 9-5 wouldn’t be an option in order to meet the salary I hoped for/needed. So I gambled on an unpaid internship in the hospitality industry, nannied at night and worked freelance on marketing for clients all at the same time. Well, fast forward – I became a Head of Marketing for the same hospitality company years later all because I took a risk to work hard and showcase my skills at a truly trying time in the economy. Sometimes if you have a goal, the work to get there might be rough but it will pay off.

I probably started my career as a professional organizer years before I actually started the business, organizing my own barbies and my brother’s cars. But in 2017, I decided to hop in officially. I was called to the world of professional organizing, NEAT Method in-particular, due to a long love with design and construction.
Previous to NEAT, I worked in hospitality and tech startups – two drastically different worlds but both comprised of exceptional service levels, new problems daily and quick turnarounds.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Consistency and customer service have been a close number 1 & 2 for why NEAT preforms well in Minnesota. We offer clients a high level of service, dedication to their goals and overall peace of mind.
