We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Laura Webster a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Laura, thanks for joining us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.

I took a big risk when I completely switched my career. I taught first grade for nine years. It was something I wanted to do my whole life and never considered any other profession. There was a thought though, what else could be out there? Am I selling myself short for never seeking another profession? After weighing the pros and cons, I decided to leave teaching when my husband and I made a big move half way across the country. I haven’t looked back!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Throughout my life, I’ve been organizing and styling spaces around me. From my own bedrooms, to my homes as an adult, it’s always been a passion of mine. My friends and family always were looking for my advice in their spaces.

Bright and Bliss is a full service home organizing and interior styling business. It was created to provide everyday bliss into the everyday home. My belief is that everyone deserves to live in a space that is functional and beautiful.

I’m proud to open the doors to those who think having an interior stylist or professional organizer is only a luxury service. I can work within most budgets, onsite or virtual.

I want my readers/followers to get inspired by me by organizing and transforming spaces.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

The best source for gaining new clients is community social media pages and word of mouth.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

Just being authentic and relatable has helped build my reputation. My goal is to be top of mind for those that are wanting to refresh a space in their home.
