We recently connected with Laura Tate and have shared our conversation below.
Laura, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the best advice you ever gave to a client? How did they benefit / what was the result?
Let me share a story about a couple, let’s call them John and Emily, who were on the verge of giving up their dream of homeownership. They had been searching for what felt like ages, but every property they found seemed to have some major flaw. They were feeling defeated and ready to throw in the towel.
That’s when I swooped in with what I believe is the best advice I’ve given yet: “Don’t settle for a house that doesn’t make your heart skip a beat, y’all. The right one is out there waiting for you, I promise.”
I could see the skepticism in their eyes, but I also saw the spark of hope reignite. So, we regrouped, refocused, and dove back into the search with renewed determination.
And you know what? It wasn’t long before we stumbled upon a hidden gem tucked away in a charming neighborhood. From the moment John and Emily stepped through the front door, they knew they had found something special. It was like the house was whispering to them, “Welcome home.”
Sure, it needed a little TLC, but that didn’t faze them one bit. They could see the potential, the future memories waiting to be made within those walls. So, they took the leap, and let me tell you, it was worth every penny.
Now, they’re living happily ever after in their dream home, grateful they didn’t settle for anything less. And I couldn’t be happier to have played a part in making their homeownership dreams come true.
So, if you ever find yourself feeling discouraged in your home search, just remember: don’t settle for anything less than a house that makes your heart sing. With a little patience and the right realtor by your side, you’ll find your perfect match before you know it.

Laura, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
