We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Laura Tarquino a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Laura, appreciate you joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.

I have always had some psychic gifts and strong intuition as a young child.

Laura, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I am an astrologer and Oracle reader. I am a 3rd generation card reader as my grandmother use to read playing cards. In 2017 I decided to have structured training for astrology and attended an astrology school from a famous astrologer in Boulder , Colorado. I learned shamanic experiential exercises to help evoke awakenings in peoples lives as well. After formal training I went on to learn from other various spiritual people online from other astrologers to psychics that are known worldwide. I began practicing my craft doing gigs or events where I could mix or blend my toolkit of abilities to do readings for people either over the phone or in person.
Helping people seek awareness to themselves and lives helps them to transform and transcend to higher planes of learning and also gives people perspectives they normally would never have access to. Sharing unseen wisdom is important to my work as it enables people toward their higher selves and to their innate purpose for why they are here.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

I often incounter skeptics or people that are giving me the show me that what you do is valid and has meaning in this world. One of my favorite things to see is someone who doesn’t believe in what I do change before my eyes to awakened. Magic is real!

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

One of the most beautiful parts of astrology is giving people permission to be their authentic selves. Why are we the way we are? It’s not an accident! There wasn’t a mistake in who you are. People then have more compassion for everyone because of it.
