Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Laura Loop. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Laura, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Before we get into specifics, let’s talk about success more generally. What do you think it takes to be successful?
I believe in order to become successful you need to be willing to do the hard things, and sometimes the hard things are; being vulnerable, fail in order to learn, sit with difficult conversations, set boundaries.
Being all in when building your dream life, whether that includes a business or not, means you stay with it’s hard. I call that staying power. The ability to stay when your instincts are triggered to fight/flight/freeze/fawn.
When life is lifeing, which it does an awful lot, you need to be committed to staying. When it looks like it hasn’t worked, it might still be workING, the results are not there yet. It’s most likely your impatience ruling you out before the race has ended.
Being able to sit with the discomfort of TRUST when it looks like it’s not working, without going down into a self-destructive downward spiral filled with negative comments beating yourself up, that’s real personal power. Which is what it takes to make it, anywhere really. In life, in love, in sports, in business.
This has personally been my biggest growth portal. Feeling like nothing is happening, finances crumbling and yet — I stayed in my power, and of course new ideas for programs, new clients, new opportunities came in out of no where. Which is only possible if you stay open to them.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
As many coaches I found my way into the industry more or less by accident. I used to live “like you are supposed to”, doing “good” at my masters at uni, living with my “good” ex-partner in a “good” apartment having 3 “good” student job. I was the “good” daughter, friend, student, partner. And I was miserable and crippled by anxiety to a degree where I barely functioned. A typical day would be; wake up and try not to cry until my partner left the partment, fall to pieces, get ready for work, try not to cry too many times at work, go home, walk the dog, be a zombie in front of Netflix, cry myself to sleep quietly. My wake-up moment was New Years Eve where I broke an antique wine glass of great importance to me and my world crumbled and I was bawling on the kitchen floor and in the midst of broken glass I realized; It’s not the wine glass I’m crying about.
I left my partner, the apartment and 2/3 student jobs, went to study part time and moved in with my best friend in a loft bed. From here I dedicated my life to one rule; Does this bring me joy? That became my leading light from then on and has been since.
I started diving into self development books, podcasts, instagram profiles. I did a certification in numerology and started offering 1:1 reading, which quickly grew into coaching, program, more certifications and now I’m here. 5+ years running my business full time, having served close to 700 clients in my programs, courses, masterminds and 1:1. And I am just getting started.
At the heart of my business is personal power coaching: Supporting spiritual visionaries in defining their dream life, build the courage to go for it and the how to make it become a reality, without fitting into “supposed to” boxes of 9-5 job, house in the suburbs or traditional partnerships.
It’s all about YOU, defining what YOU want — before the world told you what you “should” want.
I’ve build an inclusive safe space for self growth in life, love and business called “House of Power”, this is a 1 year journey back home to you in the safe company of other spiritual visionaries. Together we rise, as a collective.
In the creation phase I spend a lot of time making sure House of Power is inclusive to all; no matter their gender, background, cultural heritage or sexual orientation.
Beside running House of Power I have 1:1 clients where we work in depth with building their Vision Board Reality using my unique frame work; The Power Loop Framework. This unique approach creates a 360 degree up level of who you ARE, not what you DO in this world.
Your personal power isn’t defined by your doing, but your being.
That’s what I support my clients in. Being the version of themselves who’s a match to their wildest dreams.

Let’s talk about resilience next – do you have a story you can share with us?
Trigger warning S/A
I decided to go all in on my business by march 1st 2020, I had no savings, I was single paying all bills myself. I was out looking for locations for my 1:1 coaching clinic, had many appointments in the book. And then on March 13th, the country shut down and went into lockdown. So my first ever business venture was to pivot my entire business from in person to online, which has been a blessing and it still functions solely online to this day.
But it’s here in the lockdown my true resilience story begins. As I spend all day every day in my own company with my thoughts, feelings and memories, old memories started to emerge. And claimed to be seen. Memories about how a man treated me as a child. Which wasn’t how you where supposed to treat a small child, and in the middle of lockdown with a new business, no savings, no support around me, I realized: I’ve been a victim of sexual assault when I was a kid.
And now I had to deal with it. But how the hell do you do that?
My mental health deteriorated rapidly, but I kept going. Back then my brand was very high energy, happy go lucky vibes, so I kept showing up, I was on instagram stories every single day as I struggled behind the scenes.
I’ve been navigating this healing process through out my entrepreneurial journey, I don’t know what it’s like to not run a business while healing intense childhood trauma.
Through out these last 5 years I’ve;
Acknowledged my trauma
Been in (a lot) of therapy
Confronted my abuser
Turned him into the police
Been to court
Won the court
Dealing with the aftermath of court.
This is me walking the walk, this is me leading from my personal power in times of absolute darkness.
Having to show up, no matter how I felt, in order to make money and make ends means. But the beauty of it all is; my business, my clients, where what brought me most joy in the times of the biggest darkness.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to unlearn so much on my journey! What I will highlight today is; my mindset around money.
I carried so many limiting beliefs such as “it’s hard to make money”, “being a woman in business is difficult”, “money doesn’t grow on trees”, “it takes money to make money” etc…
Having rewired my beliefs around money changed the game for me and liberated me from this heavy belief system which wasn’t mine at all.
Yes making money CAN be hard, but it can also be super simple. The higher paying client I’ve had, the easier it’s been. Those who paid the most are the easiest to work with.
I had to sit down and truly work my money mindset to be supportive to my desires and dreams and let it serve me, instead of being a hindrance to my growth.
And this is something I’m still doing. some of those beliefs are laying deep in the subconscious and take time to get rid off.
I’d advice any aspiring entrepreneur to dive into money mindset asap!
