Laura, appreciate you joining us today. Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
During the time of Covid taking the risk of starting an online woman’s boutique. I’ve always wanted to do it but was always scared.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a police officer who loves fashion. I’ve always been into fashion. I go by the saying, “when you look good, you feel good”.
Other than training/knowledge, what do you think is most helpful for succeeding in your field?
Building relationships!!! I’ve met some great individuals along this journey that I have had the honor of helping them with their fashion.
Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
My business partner is my stepsister. Our parents met each other and started dating. When they introduced us to each other we were actually friends in high school. I used to drive her home after school.
One day I called her and told her my idea of starting a boutique. Come to find out she had been wanting to start one and was already starting the process. So of course we decided to just do it together.
