We were lucky to catch up with LaTischa Brown recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, LaTischa thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?

Honey Bz Organic Juices started because of the transition of my mother (Cynthia A. Brown) with her battle against Uterine Cancer that was in 2013, I didn’t get the idea until 5 yrs later. I had a garden previously as therapy to help me walk through life’s changes. Because I would have so much produce left over after cooking and giving some to coworkers. I started juicing the collards, beet, and herbs lemon thyme. mint, basil, and so on. It became a must for me every day.

As I would walk through my Garden I constantly ask God, How did my mom get Uterine Cancer? She was not overweight. She didn’t smoke or drink. Her diet was consistent with veggies. The Dr. said, “she had the heart and lungs of a 25 yrs old”

As I was in the garden I heard a voice say the first juice is going to be beet juice because it is the only veggie that flows into the bloodstream that life and oxygen to the blood cells to promote better blood flow and give energy to the reproductive organs to the uterus and prostate to flush toxins out of the body natural will removes from radicals in the body that causes cancer.
Once I heard this voice I immediately started to research and found out what I heard was true. unknowingly to me. This was truly a divine download.

That juice is called Rebuild beet Juice. Since then I would constantly hear instructions. This Voice gave me Release Lemon detox juice. Restore and Replenish Green Juice. Each juice ingredient was downloaded to me by God’s Inspiration.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is LaTischa Brown I’m a mom of 5 fabulous young adults. My corporate background is in medical billing and coding. By Being in that field helps me see the benefits of juicing in a different way .After reading many Dr. reports you start to do research to see what caused such a disease and what could have prevented it. I’m a natural problem solver so I enjoy being resourceful .

Getting into the juicing industry was very scary at first. I was like would people believe this juice really help you physically mentally and spiritually by me knowing “the fruit is food and the medicine is in the leaves” Ezekiel 47:12
I stepped out and did my first pop up at my church CEO/BUSINESS OWNER Ministry Fair. I also paid to participate local pop shops and kept learning and investing in better juicers and certain ingredients.

I wanted my juices to be a brand you can trust you have quality ingredients put together by care and concern for healing the body itself through cold pressed juices infused with natural holistic herbs and sea minerals.

Once customers would tell me how they feel so much better and became monthly orders I knew I was on to something BIG.

One of my proudest moments is when a new customer called and said “What juice do you have to help me with Gout. I informed him of Our Juice “Happy FEET”. I told him the benefits from the sweet potatoes, tart cherry juice and turmeric . 3 days later he called to say “Thank You” I can get back to driving my 18 wheeler again . I Informed him of what veggies to avoid to keep inflammation away. until this day he does a regimen of a 3 day juice cleanse 2x a month.

How’d you think through whether to sell directly on your own site or through a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc.

Yes, we do have a website, during the pandemic I really started to work on my website orders. We manufacture our own product in small batches., So the pros for me is since I fund the business myself doing ecommerce is the best way for me to keep over head cost for brick and mortar low. Our juices are made fresh and shipped frozen so doing a brick in mortar right now didn’t fit.

We have also partner with a meal prep company to have our juices as an option when their customers would like to cleanse their organs. we hope to partner with many meal prep companies and Gym’s

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

My Customers have built my brand trustworthiness and my knowledge of the benefits by the way my juices are formulated. I have a long way to go learning more about business and marketing. But hearing the testimonies of Customers happiness about how their health have improved is my Joy. My Grandest hope is that my cold pressed juices help someone stay on track to be the best version of themselves physically and mentally and daily.
