We recently connected with Latarsha Bradwell and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Latarsha thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Looking back, do you think you started your business at the right time? Do you wish you had started sooner or later
In full transparency, if I could turn back the hands of time, I would’ve lunged out into the deep years ago.
I let fear and comparison hold me back for years. It wasn’t until 2018 when I decided to formally step out of the shadows of fear and into obedience.
I truly “did it scared.”

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
As a child, I watched my mother design beautiful floral arrangements for weddings and events, which led me to planning parties for friends and later developed into a creative outlet.
After obtaining my B.S. Degree in Health Information Management from Florida A&M University, I decided to take my gift to the next level by attaining the designation of Certified Wedding Planner by way of The Bridal Society.
I never knew the seeds once planted by my mother would blossom into passion.
I’m most proud of what I call “my happy place ” or design muscle. My overall growth in design truly makes me smile. It’s the little details that set you apart.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I’d have to say I’m definitely “A Girl’s Girl!”
I’ve built my audience by showcasing events that appeal to women similar to myself.
Strong, Feminine and Classic are three words that embody my audience.
For those that are just starting to build a social media presence, I’d recommend doing some self evaluation and digging into who you are and who you want to serve. Mix consistency into the equation, and you’re bound to win.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
If I’ve learned anything, I’ve learned to lead by organization, communication, respect and partnership.
If those components are in place, you’ll be able to manage any team!
I think of a team as a machine with many moving parts. As your Event liason, we hold the highest responsibility. The team heavily relies on me for guidance and support.
As a leader, to keep morale high, your team must be able to depend on wise decision-making, great organization skills and your willingness to get in the trenches with them.
