We recently connected with Lataja Moore and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Lataja , thanks for joining us today. Do you wish you had started sooner?

It was 2015, my husband and I lived in Pensacola, FL. I was working at a financial institution as a banker. I started writing out my business plan while I was at work. I’ve always had a passion to create my own skincare products. I didn’t actually start working on my business until 2019 after I had my son. I think if I would have started earlier, I may not have been as thorough as far as research and testing. I was working a lot at the time and couldn’t really commit to starting a business. One thing I would have changed about my experience is that I wouldn’t have looked to others for approval. Starting when I did was perfect timing, because I had the extra time to commit and research what was necessary.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Beloved Bath House came to life after years of desiring to create a skin care line that would be beneficial for my skin. God gave me the name Beloved Bath House in 2018. In 2019, my son began having issues with his skin. Instead of using steroid products, I decided to learn how to make natural soap and body butters. Two years went by and I hadn’t started my business. In 2020 I finally decided to stop waisting time and began creating my beloved skincare line.

Beloved Bath House is a luxurious bath and body care line created with love. Our products will deep cleanse your skin while also giving you an intense hydration. We specialize in products that help with dry skin, eczema, and other skin issues. We believe in using late best ingredients available to help maintain a healthy body from the inside to the outside.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My goal is to educate others on the importance of being cautious about the ingredients you use on your skin. There are so many different chemicals that are in your everyday skincare products that can cause, illnesses, and skin problems. Many of us may have sensitive skin or allergies, so it’s important to pay attention to what’s being used on the outside because that does transfer to the inside of our bodies as well.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

It really warms my heart when people try my products and fall in love with them. When creating my products, I always hope that people will enjoy using them and that they will continue to come back for more. I love seeing the repeat customers, they truly mean a lot to me. It lets me know I’ve created a good thing.
