We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Larry Lemuel a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Larry, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
My most meaningful project will be the current album im working on. I’m brainstorming a few names for the project but i know that this will be my best one yet. Through all of the trials and tribulations I finally have been able to put together a batch of songs that I can say im proud of. Speaking from a state of healing, evolution, and love listeners will be able to feel the motivation and inspiration to be the best version of themselves.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Larry Lemuel 30 year old Hip Hop artist from Youngstown, Ohio. I got in the industry through a brother of mine named Diesel. He reached out to me and let me know about a movie going on in Cincinatti called Surviving Compton(Lifetime). He asked if I wanted to ride with him and get on set and I said for sure! I got to play the role of Sug knight’s posse. It was a featured Background role so there were a few shots of me but I didn’t get a speaking role. After that it was pedal to the metal, Diesel, a few friends and I got on the road to Chicago and I appeared(as background) in various shows like Empire, The Chi, Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D, etc. After about a 6 month voyage to Chicago I returned home to work on some music. Thats when I made an unreleased album(TNLVSN II) Although everything on the outside seemed to be going great mentally I was not in the right headspace & went through a depression period. From there I took a break from the industry completely for about 4 years. Fast forward to 2022 Diesel and I took a trip to Knoxville, Tenessee for a show called ATL Homicides where I received my first speaking role! Season 4 Episode 11 I got to play the role of Makai Bell a whiteness to a drive by shooting. Once I was able to find clarity in what it is that I wanted out of life I decided to get back into what it is that i truly love, which is music. I was able to start the project that you will be hearing at the top of 2024. This Album is full of gems to get you through those tough times which was cultivated by discipline, sacred study, meditation & affirmative prayer.
The Products & Services I offer are features, live performances, clothing, Recording Engineering, Promotional Modeling, & MuseState Water.
I know I’m different from other artist because my message is instructed directly from God to serve to the world. My message is not to tear down our planet, but to build. Each and every person on this planet has a key to unlock the minds in this world & I am here to play my part.
I am most proud of the comeback I’ve achieved. I was in a place where I couldn’t see what was next for me, a very dark & lonely place. I found my way out of that place with the support of my family & supporters. It was a long path but I made it, I’m here, and im present. Excited to bring you a great project full of love & great energy.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Yes, my mission is to unite everyone! Black, brown, yellow, or white, we all need to unite! One of my goals is to open up a Music & Film Studio in my hometown, create jobs, and build wealth for the community.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist is having a supporter tell you that a verse or something I said in a song connects with their spirit. It feels good to know that I am not alone in this world.
