We were lucky to catch up with Laron Gigger recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Laron, thanks for joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always known I wanted to pursue a creative and artistic path. The performing arts, visual arts, and everything about performing have captivated me from a young age. I’ve been dancing since I could walk, and for the past two years, I’ve taken up roller skating, which has become a new passion of mine. My journey has been filled with countless hours of practice, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of mastering my skills. I’ve also been very consistent on social media, sharing my progress and engaging with a growing audience. Now, after years of hard work and perseverance, I’m starting to see my efforts pay off as my work is gaining more recognition and starting to blow up. My journey is a testament to following your passions and never giving up on your dreams.
I am thrilled to announce my newest accomplishment: becoming the first-ever brand ambassador for Fahrenheit Skates, a roller skating company based in London. The company is launching very soon, and big things are on the horizon. I am incredibly proud and honored to be part of this exciting team and contribute towards this groundbreaking venture.
Laron, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
What’s up! I’m thrilled to share my journey with you. My name is Laron Gigger. I am 20 years old and currently reside in Atlanta, GA I am a professional dancer, roller skater, model, actor, and social media influencer. My story is one of passion, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to being unapologetically myself.
Dance has always been my first love. I’ve been dancing all my life —the rhythm, the movement, the expression. It’s where I found my voice and my confidence. Each step, each routine, and each performance became an extension of who I am. I was self taught by the way.
2 years ago, I discovered roller skating, and it blew up for me. The freedom, the thrill, and the sheer joy of skating quickly captured my heart, much like dance did years ago. It felt like a natural evolution, a new way to express myself and push my creative boundaries..
One of my proudest recent accomplishments is being part of Roller Jam on HBO Max and Magnolia Network, a skating competition where I not only competed but also contributed choreography. This was my first major TV appearance, and it has made me incredibly proud. Additionally, being recognized by icons like Beyoncé and Missy Elliott for my dancing has been a dream come true and a testament to my dedication.
Building my brand, LaronBest LLC, has been a labor of love. It’s more than just a business; it’s a reflection of my journey and identity. Over the years, I’ve poured my heart and soul into it, and I’m excited to share that it’s thriving. I’m looking forward to launching merchandise for my supporters, furthering the connection we’ve built.
I recently hosted my first-ever “Be Who You Are” skate party in Atlanta, which was a tremendous success. My LGBTQ+ inclusive event celebrated diversity and self-expression, using my influence to promote a safe and joyous space for everyone.
What sets me apart is my authenticity. In an age where social media can often feel curated, I strive to be genuine. I share my highs and lows, my victories and challenges, and everything in between. This realness resonates with my audience, creating a special bond.
I’m very proud of the community I’ve built on social media. My followers inspire me daily. Their support drives me to push boundaries and explore new horizons. Whether through a captivating dance video, an iconic skate video, or a candid moment, I aim to create content that inspires and pushes new boundaries.
To my potential fans and current supporters, I want you to know that my journey is a shared one. Your encouragement fuels my creativity, and together, we are creating something extraordinary. LaronBest LLC is more than a brand—it’s a movement of self-expression, resilience, and unapologetic individuality. It represents who I am.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Building My Audience on Social Media
I’ve been grinding, posting, and creating independent content on social media for years, starting in middle school. My passion for filmmaking and videography led me to learn how to film and edit my own videos. As a self-taught dancer, I produced my own dance videos, showcasing my love for dance. When I discovered skating, I transitioned my content to focus on skating, and it blew up for me. I gained thousands of followers and millions of views.
Throughout my journey, I made it a priority to stay authentic and genuine, always being my unapologetic self. This authenticity resonated with many, and I gained respect not only in the LGBTQ community but also in the skate and dance communities.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The Most Rewarding Aspect of Being an Artist or Creator
For me, the most rewarding aspect of being an artist and creator is seeing the incredible support and attention my videos and work receive. The love and positivity I get from my audience inspire and motivate me to keep pushing forward.
Additionally, the opportunities and income I’ve started to generate from my creative content have been immensely gratifying. It’s rewarding to see my passion translate into tangible success, allowing me to continue doing what I love while also benefiting financially.
For example, I never thought that skating would put me on the first-ever rollerskating competition show in the world, “Roller Jam” . That right there is a testament to my success.
