We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Lara Grosso a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Lara, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you share an important lesson you learned in a prior job that’s helped you in your career afterwards?
The biggest thing I have learned from prior job, don’t expect over night success. It takes time to fry a true result. If you rush perfection and expect the sult you’re looking for. Being patient is not easy in the service industry. There is always someone that pushes your buttons and wants a reaction iu of you.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Well I have been always drawn to being different and walking my own path. Being someone you’re not is huge for me. Why live a double life, when living your own life is way better. I strive on be unapologetically me and living life to the fullest now. Learning things that are hard is not easy, but that is only the beginning of the journey for me.
I am from the lone star state and love it. This state has amazing people and history. Being family oriented has really helped shape the person I am today.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
Perfection is not always an overnight success.thatbis something everyone wants to be. We all see perfection differently. Growing up I thought you had to have the latest clothes, shoes and phone. I also thought you had to name brand everything to be noticed and get a head in life. But in reality, having a materialistic life gets you no where and that doesn’t make you happy.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I am someone that never gives up. If I see something I want in life, I fight for it and never give up until I get the results I want. For example, when I was in middle school, there was this substitute teacher who called us stupid and didn’t think we would go far in life. Truthfully, that lit a fire in me, and I am happy where I am in life today.
